How many people breathed a huge sigh of relief when Jason Olesnavage booted a 40(something)yard field goal and it was good? And not only good but right down the middle.
I feel a lot better about Michigan's kicking situation than I did before the game started. Every year the kicking game is the difference in one or two games. Having a guy who can make the clutch kick during the game is a wonderful asset. I don't really consider what he did as a clutch kick in relation to the score of the game. But the individual pressure he must have felt, kicking for the first time in front of 110,000, must have been similar in scope.
