thought you guys would be interested
Add another DT to the list of possibilities? I like it.
Do you know where he's looking?
Did you read the article? Virginia Tech, Notre Dame and Penn State.
Wow.. I've spaced a lot recently. I thought the OP was just a couple lines long, because for some reason I assumed the whole bottom part was his signature..
My bad! Now that I read the article, I can say that I'm now aware who his top schools are.
list right now? At this rate if he committed there 1/2 the guys in his class would be ruled ineligible and leave early for the NFL, he probably wouldn't play in any bowl games, and maybe the 4 years he plays there get retroactively wiped. They just sent a bunch of guys to the pros, but it's a pretty bad situation there, regardless.
The article states PSU, ND, North Carolina, and VT.
I think there will be more than 4 schools in it over the next few weeks
Read the article
Sounds like ND has a great shot... thanks for sharing, Irish. :)
among his leaders, his taking back his commitment from PSU is not likely to be big news here. Personally, I would rather he go to PSU than ND, as like many Michiganders who are also Michigan alums, I hate ND but merely view PSU as another Big Ten rival.
Let him go to VaTech. We'll never see them unless it's in a bowl game.
I am not sure VT fits that description, although it is in such a remote part of Virginia that distractions would certainly be minimized.
Marcus Vick would disagree
let him go to psu so we can watch him beat up on ohio in the other division
Hopefully he picks UNC, if he doesn't pick us. Frank Beamer wins without top notch talent and as someone who also roots for Miami, I don't need him getting 5-star guys.
Bud Foster has to be the most underrated DC in the nation IMO. He's been there for ages.
Yet it does not look like he will be part of our class.
Seems that we have fallen for him and there were some off the field concerns if i wasnt mistaken.
Would be interested to see how this plays out though.
Not sure how he fits in with O'brien, Shittu and Pipkins and only looking for 1 DT
Pitt and Louisville getting visits during the spring and I wondered if he was kidding.
About him going to louisville and I don't think it was a joke.Pittsburgh maybe a joke.
Personally, I don't give a Shittu about Jarron Jones.
Why not? He's a highly ranked recruit
Prediction. I have a hunch about him going to syracuse.
He is rated as their best recruit. My advice to Jarron Jones is head to the ACC.
whats it mean to commit anymore? whats the point of verbally committing if you aren't sure you're ready? only other than your team is gonna get hammered with sanctions.
To save a spot in a class you might want to attend, even if you are not 100% sure.
His family wasn't happy that he committed so early. His mother wants him to take some visits,
Thank you for that insightful comment
Quick question: does anyone know about Michigan's school for biochemistry or sports medicine? That's what Josh Garnett wants to study.
Michigan's undergrad Biochem program was ranked 26th in 2004 by USNEWS, Sports Medicine is a med school degree, Michigan's med school is generally pretty good and I believe sports medicine is top 3. Athletic training, which would probably be the closest undergrad degree to that, through Kinesiology, I couldn't find a ranking for, but the Kinese program in general is, I believe top 20.
This is ot but biochem can be found currently under three departments, chemistry, molecular and cellular development biology (Biology), and the Med School. But most undergrads who are biochem majors fall into the chemistry department. The difference between chemistry and mcdb is that chemistry follows more of the chemical mechanisms while mcdb follows more of the structural implications of the mechanisms. Both are extremely tough, and if you want to preserve a good gpa, good luck. Orgo is a gpa-eating monster and Intro to Biochem will make you kiss dreams of med school goodbye. That being said, you still learn stuff (a little) (at least... I did).
Orgo was agpa destroying monster, but I actually liked biochem. Took it as an undergrad course, but keller plan which they billed as the same as medschool biochem. Took it with genetics and 8other credits of 4&500 level bio classes. My worst grade was a b+. And it was in genetics which I thought was the easiest class i took that semester.
But would we take him since we are only going to take one more interior lineman?
