I actually don't hate this. Mid tier B1G teams (Minny,Wisco, etc) are improving. Once the elite teams get back to form our conference can be good again. I much prefer him going to PSU over an ACC/SEC team

everybody commits to the coaching staff, not the University. Relationship with the coaching staff matters more than the University. Wanting players to commit to the Univeristy is unrealistic.
