And we didn't need him. Word on the street is that Hoke didn't want him because he didn't fit his system. It was a mutual parting of ways...

But in all seriousness, I don't see this as a huge loss. Good luck to this kid

I hear he didn't have the competitive fire necessary to play for Hoke.

Hoke looks for people that live, eat, and breath football. He said, "Jamarco, I want you to eat an actual football for me right now, son". But Jamarco wouldn't do it. Do not want.

It's too bad out of his top 3 I think he picked the system that suits him the least. Oh, and it's also too bad that he picked OSU. So that's 0/2.

He'll likely still be good though, and that's what sucks the most about it.

Ohio needed him more than us, which i'm guessing influenced his recruitment.  I was hopping we would get him just so ohio didn't get him though.

Interesting to see if offer to another lineman goes out for this class or if that gets used next year.

The thought of only one scholarship OL for 2015 gives me hives.

So is UM out of 2014 OL targets, and if so, does this mean that 2015 OL Edoga gets the Michigan offer that he's been coveting so much?  From what I've read about him, he's all but said he'd commit on the spot.

This makes me glad that everyone said MSU for the last few days. Him being an OSU lean the whole time would have been boring. Getting Sparty's hopes up just for them to be dashed is much more fun.

Would have loved to have him, but we're not exactly hurting on the O-Line right now. We're going to win some recruiting battles against OSU, like Marshall, Winovich, Harris, Peppers, etc., and we're going to lose some too, like this one. Hope he does well, but then gives up 5 sacks in every game he plays against us.

It must be the promise of going undefeated his entire 4 years at Ohio that drew him in. That, or Urban Meyer's extensive collection of Bratz dolls.

Ohio really needed him. It still would be cool to win all the head to head battles, but he had a long line in front of him in Ann Arbor. Best of luck Mr Jones

Wouldn't surprise me if we wind up getting a kid at OL who breaks out this season and none of us have heard of yet.  Our classes are filling so fast these days we might be missing out on some of these kids (not that I'm complaining about our recruiting).  Finley might be a good example.
