Michigan target 4* SF Jalen Wilson is set to announce his commitment on May 30th at 5pm. Michigan is currently the favorite on 247. This is good news as he was supposed to take other visits this summer, but he is committing at a time where we have momentum

Establishing winning ways and recruiting wins on the basketball court. Would be nice if football caught up to beating our rivals. We beat up Sparty and Buckeyes during my day. I remember when my friends told me 1 win in 3-4 years for Sparty to win in football and we always had Coopers number. The good old days I guess. Thanks for basketball, I can enjoy wins against those teams more often than not.

if Wilson and Carton pick UM. If there is room for McDaniels and he picks UM, that would be a great class.
Yaklich and Washington have significantly boosted recruiting. Have to give Beilein all the credit for hiring them, 2 or 3 top 30 recruits will raise the national perspective of UM.
2 National titles and an FBI investigation have boosted recruiting. Hate it had to get this far. Cyclical, random, lucky, texas car salesman........ murica!
The blue bloods appear unscathed at this point. Perhaps the neutering of Louisville and Arizona is helping UM, but the recruiting by the two key assistants has really raised UM’s profile. They are both strong recruiters.
It only takes a little luck in bball recruiting with 1-2 recruits to change the entire class, so maybe it’s luck. Still, I give Beilein credit for the good luck.

DJ, Jaden and Jalen would be a fantastic class. I don’t expect any one-and-done from the 2018 class (even Iggy seems like 2 maybe 3 years) so the squad would be extremely loaded for 2019-20 season.

Doesn’t want to come back Can’t see how he develops better in the G league However JJRedick-sorry said on bill Simmons podcast that it’s a different game and doesn’t view college as the obvious choice for getting better. Of course JJ could shoot lights out on the move. Not so much in this case yet.
Matthew’s needs one more year. I think the G league won’t help him develop as much as college. First it’s higher profile to play on TV. Hell just be another player in the G league.
