Jalen Rose's jacket

I'm not sure if this is thread worthy, so feel free to delete. However, when college gameday started, Jalen Rose was wearing a red and white striped jacket nearly identical to the IU hoops team warm-up pants. Did he lose a bet or something? Considering this is the biggest Michigan basketball game in a long time and it is in Bloomington, I thought that was absurd. Just my thoughts. On top of the fact that relatives of mine that are graduates of IU felt the need to point out how one of the Fab 5 was donning their team's colors.

Well, that was awkward.  Anyone catch him calling out Digger Phelps for not recruiting him?  Even before that segment, i thought Digger has this smug look on his face, like he doesn't want to have anything to do with Jalen, or anything he says.

I take issue with what digger phelps said.  He's a good coach, and so is Coach K obviously.  But there's something to be said about coaches who take on the Jalen's of the world and try to have a positive influence in their lives.

Don't be alarmed. I am an IU student who happens to absolutely love Michigan. That jacket Jalen was wearing belongs to my roommate. We asked all of the panel to wear the jacket during College Gameday and Jalen was the only one cool enough to wear it. Afterwards he was kind enough to take some pictures with us and sign autographs.

It's TV folks.  It's ENTERTAINMENT.  It's all staged.  It's Holtz vs. May.  It's Jalen vs. Digger.  It's anything possible not to be boring so that you don't change the channel.  

Have fun with it and don't get your undies in a bunch.  Jalen in the red and white jacket was a hoot.

It was not staged at all. When we (my roommates and I) asked Jalen to wear the jacket the ESPN manager at first said no but he insisted when the fans chanted "wear the jacket."
