Jalen Rose, Jon Jansen Voted Into Michigan Sports Hall of Fame
Congrats to Jalen Rose and Jon Jansen, who have both been voted into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame. Love both those guys, and it's great to see them continuing to spread their love for the Maize and Blue on various airwaves.
The 2017 class includes a few other interesting names, as well, including Dennis Rodman and Jim Leyland.

I usually listen to the UM streaming audio of each game. Karsch and the booth guys always seem to tease Jon on the air about his sport coat. Now I can see why. It is sort of extreme, but it clearly declares his allegiance. Congrats on your award, Jon.
That jacket deserves its own award.
Jalen has been a great representative of Michigan. His school, and the resources he has devoted to it, is impressive: http://www.jrladetroit.com
So are we just forgetting that whole DUI thing and how he swept it under the rug until after his documentary aired?
Great coach and great guy.
Also a strong Michigan connection w/ his father and brother both playing football at Michigan.
Good role models and examples of successful young men transitioning to life after professional sports.
They truly give back and are thankful for the opportunities they have been provided.
Jalen and Jon were great players at Michigan. I think this means a lot to both of them and am glad they have received this much deserved recognition. As an aside, I really enjoy listening to them both when on the air.
Fitting.
