Last year I though Jake Ryan played really well at the SAM. He was inexperienced, but gave 100% effort every play he was on the field. He got better each game, and turned into pretty good linebacker imo. He is young and can only get better. By his play last year, it seems like he could easily turn into another great Michigan LB. My question however, is why is there talk about putting him on the line? Each starting pos. on the line seems almost won by Roh, Black, Campbell, and Beyer. It would be pointless to have him back one of them up since he is very talented. So where would he fit on the line? My initial thought was in Nickle he'd move down to the line. But he did that last year (atleast I believe he did) so why are there questions about it?
Aside from that, I'm loving all the football talk on the board, it's been much needed.
