Per multiple tweets and Michigan Radio Broadcast
Mike Spath points out that doing an interview for the official site is a pretty good indicator he'll be back.
Is this going to be where those who can't get thru on the live blog come to chat
Since there is no open thread why the hell not.
You didn't get an engraved invitation either?
I'm alright with that.
This is a good idea.
I like him wearing 90 but I think that is a great player choice.
Wow they really need to settle down out there.
Jake looked to be wincing after that tackle. Is he 100%?
Just curious as to what everyone thinks. Is it going to be harder to replace Denard or Kovacs
Interesting question... both are very productive players but are somewhat limited because they're not the prototype for their position. Denard's not a pure passer and Kovacs got some athletic limitations in coverage.
The QB replacement options will almost certainly be less productive (individually) in the short term but should allow Michigan to run a purer version of Borges's offense and better utilize the skill position players.
There's good, young talent at safety already on the roster and more on the way. You'll lose consistency and leadership but probably gain range and athleticism. Jarrod Wilson and Dymonte have the potential to be the best safety pairing since Ray & Hendricks if they develop over the next few years.
I'll say we'll miss Denard most just because the O Line is looking so unertain next year and he's got the ability to make so many things happen on his own.
He would run more this game against a weaker opponent
Good number choice. 90 is a solid number, but its not a true linebacker number. 47 fits the bill
So why in hell give his number to a guy on defense?
Earned it, for sure, today.
Tell me you're kidding... Ryan is horrible defending the run off the edge
eat me. hard.
Jake Ryan needs to wear #16 after Nard Dawg leaves.
