so much for that
In the next picture in ESPN's gallery, Jordan Kovacs (whose name is clearly visible) is referred to as "Michigan (sic) Lamonte Edwards".
Did they get a picture of Gravy Hulk congratulating Bartholamew Roundtree after his long catch?

Jake Ryan is kind of a beast...Man is he ever fun to watch while he disrupts the field, the guy seems to be everywhere.
Jake Ryan's great, but he really isn't doing anything special there in that .04 second clip... just sayin;
"It has been my experience that those with no vices have very few virtues"
He uses would-be-blocker-guy as a weapon with which to hit the running back. I kinda thought it was something.
He basically manhandles the blocker (and in the process causes the blocker to impede the runner) and then bursts to the side, preventing the runner from gaining the edge, ending in a 5 yard loss for Minnesota. I thought it was pretty nice.
"That's right. It's an off-tackle play. It's coming right over you. And there's not a thing you can do about it."
I think his point was that none of that was captured in the gif... I was thinking the same thing.
"Michigan Defense" is dominating everything, in every aspect of life. That's a rough definition.
-Craig Roh 10/29/2011
was that he stayed responsible. He could have torn off after the RB and given up contain, but stayed home, saw the reverse coming, and blew it the hell up.
"I promise you we would have walked to the University of Michigan." - Brady Hoke
I agree, .04 seconds of Ryan eating a block isn't all that great. The play in the game was great, this GIF is not.
I'm going to treat you all the same. Like dogs. - Bo
PROPOSAL 12-7
A REFERENDUM ON MICHIGAN LINEBACKER #47 – THE NO MERE MORTAL PROVISIONThe Provision would:

- Require Mr. Ryan make 160 tackles per season, of which 90 must be solo tackles.
- Require the Downtown Athletic Club to invite Mr. Ryan to the trophy ceremony every year until the expiration of his NCAA eligibiligy
Should this law be approved?
YES ___

"The straightest line from A to B is straight: From A to B"
"When you have Denard Robinson, you can have everything"
~George Walden
And I approve this message
Are full of lies. MLive says "ChopBlock's proposal would ... limit future ... players at ... Michigan."
While MVictors says "No ... More proposals ... From ChopBlock."
This ad was paid for by Wednesday Can't Get Here Soon Enough.
Yes, but Tremendous says:
ChopBlock's proposal...is... not... funded by insidious special interest groups looking to destroy the very fabric of society itself.
And Bleacher Report says:
Top 14 reasons "Yes on Seven" is underrated
So there's that.
"The straightest line from A to B is straight: From A to B"
"When you have Denard Robinson, you can have everything"
~George Walden
During the game they brought up Cam Gordon's player profile with a photo of Courtney Avery.
They're the best.
noticed that too.
...confidence is the stain they can't wipe off...
if Borges et al. get the BTN feed upstairs, they could use it to their advantage. At least twice I saw the BTN line of scrimmage out of square with the field by about a half of a yard. Therefore, if the staff was paying attention, they would only have 9 1/2 yards to make the first down, depending on which way the line was running.
He abused that poor mini soda QB into the RB and then took him down for a 5 yard loss...I'm guessing that's a +3
Blaze....any chance you could slow it down just a wee bit? For the benefit of the older members of the board like me, Don and the avatar known as Herm.
The GIF doesn't pose any issues speed-wise for me. I don't think it's very interesting, but that's a different issue.
As long as we're talking about old people and speed: there are few things on this earth more frustrating to me than old people at the wheel. From the time the light turns green, it generally takes 4 seconds for their brain to register the fact, and then it takes another 3 seconds for their synapses to send the message to their foot to press the gas pedal, and even then it takes them 10 seconds to get through the intersection. If they're driving a Buick or a Prius, the process is even slower.
Bully. I have a special needs child who in school has to be bullied more than his fair share. Its not a funny word to him. I hate to be a debby downer because the posts are funny to anyone including myself.
"I am excited to be with Brady and I am excited about where this program is headed" D C Coach Mattison
Ryan is a talent plain and simple and I'm calling it now a first round draft pick.
"The goal, the expectation of this program is the Big Ten Championship"
Not to shit on Ryan because he's awesome but he's beating a block from the QB, any linebacker worth his salt should be able to throw most non-Cam Newton QBs like that
Call Mr. Plow, that's my name, that name again is Mr. Plow
Uhhh you clearly missed when Chris Martin said Nelson is reminiscent of Tim Tebow.
I know from experience dude. If you know what I mean.
On the field, Jake Ryan is a bad man.
"Gentlemen, This is Michigan," Glenn E. "Bo" Schembechler
I also just found this one in the interest of funny pictures: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/photos?photoId=2527272&gameId=323080135. Apparently ESPN cannot tell the difference between a 5'11" white guy who plays defense and a 6'5" black guy who plays offense. Check out the caption with the picture.
