Jake Ryan and the Green Bay Packers

Submitted by StephenRKass on

My son-in-law sent me the following article on Jake Ryan, in a rookie linebacker position with the Green Bay Packers. This was after Ryan's first extended playing time against the Carolina Panthers. Glad to see Ryan doing so well, and pushing for a starting position.

Great to see Michigan players in the league. Look forward to seeing many future graduates of Michigan playing on Sundays.

Why thank you for your kind words. And a personal benefit to me:  the more threads that are put up, the quicker the Crean thread moves off the front page into oblivion.

Maybe you could put up some posts yourself. Have MGrowOld wife provide a few healthy recipes. Share the Zeitgeist of OSU fans in your vicinity. Regale us with a few personal Tressel or Meyer tales and encounters. Tell us how you have trolled or tweaked Ohio colleagues with Harbaugh happenings. Provide some pics of time with Beilein. I'm sure you are good for a couple posts.

Perhaps a new Browns post? Maybe something along the lines of, is this offseason the start of yet another rebuild, or will Pettine be back? Perhaps my favorite, will they once again lose a fan favorite in joe Thomas and leave even more fans wearing jerseys of players that no longer play for their team.

I'm a Packer fan, and let's just say.. The cheese heads are pretty Excited about Jake. That being said, I wish he had another year of eligibility to play in this system with this staff.

Speaking of rookies, has anyone heard anything about Frank Clark lately? He was getting a lot of talk at the beginning of the of the fall, but I haven't really heard anything about him recently.
