Jake Rudock granted unconditional release by Iowa

SIAP but ESPN is reporting that Iowa will grant Rudock an unconditional release which allows him to transfer anywhere - even to another B1G school.  Let's hope this removes the major hurdle that would prevent him from choosing Michigan.

We absolutely need Ruddock. Morris and Speight have proven that they aren't D1 quarterbacks. Morris is who he is and the fact that speight couldn't beat him out last year tells me all I need to know.

We need Ruddock to save the program this year and give Harbaugh time to develop the real qb's (okorn, malzone, and gentry

Speight has proven himself to not be a D1 QB? When was that exactly? In practices? Same for Shane, he's seen spot duty and inconsistent starts and we're declaring him to be not D1 material? Give your head a shake man.

Speight was redshirted and they did not want to waste that.  Everything I've heard about practice is that he is much better than Morris.  I'm actually rooting for him to beat out the hotshot freshmen...
