Do you have something against his offense?

Ryan Mundy (of all people!) hurried Smith on a blitz.

Stevie Brown just got helped off the field with a left knee injury. He picked off Geno Smith and on the return just went down. Wasn't hit. I though it was one of those "I'm just gonna fall down right before these guys hit me" things. Didn't look bad at the time but he couldn't put weight on it when the helped him off. Fuck.

Henne leads 90 yd TD opening drive, includes a Denard carry (gain of about 1 but could've been a loss of 4) and a Henne TD pass.

Just had Denard at QB and Henne at wideout...Denard handed it off.
August 24th, 2013 at 8:24 PM ^
Just got a KO return...took it up there aggressively..
August 24th, 2013 at 8:26 PM ^

Excited to see Denard Robinson in the NFL! I think hes gonna turn out to be a very good player
August 24th, 2013 at 8:47 PM ^
Granted, Jacksonville doesn't make it easy to get yards, but without all the stats in one place, I have this feeling that Denard Robinson might very well be one of the team leaders in all-purpose yardage for the Jaguars.
August 24th, 2013 at 8:48 PM ^
What a catch by Avant. He has really great hands.
August 24th, 2013 at 8:49 PM ^
That was ridiculous.
August 24th, 2013 at 8:56 PM ^
Lots of former Michigan stars in this game...

Mmmm, ooooh. This is the kind of futility I know and expect.

Nice goal line D, Bengals. That was approximately 14 missed tackles, there.
August 24th, 2013 at 10:26 PM ^
Chad Henne! Congrats.

Jags D is Not Clutch tonight.
August 24th, 2013 at 10:36 PM ^
whats going on with Kovacs... did he get cut?
August 24th, 2013 at 10:37 PM ^
oh...found it
Dolphins backup safety Jordan Kovacs worked on the side with trainers with what appears to be a leg injury. Kovacs has not practiced all week and also is unlikely to play. Kovacs is on the bubble to make the Dolphins and may need to get healthy fast. Miami backup offensive lineman Will Yeatman also missed practice again on Thursday.
August 24th, 2013 at 10:54 PM ^
:(
They'd be insane to not keep him around on the practice squad at least. A guy like Kovacs makes everyone around him better.

When Icing The Shaky Kicker Goes Wrong.

Even if that's declared a touchdown, a basic question remains: Why do you make everything look so hard? Split-second calls on the field will screw you over in close games and what then? That ballcarier should have fumbled over the logo in the endzone so that there is no doubt in the minds of the yellow flag-throwers as to the touch down on the field.
Luck --> skill, as always. Hey, win a Super Bowl, Peyton. Go for it, the league will be much more entertaining with a strong Broncos presence.
