Are they only recruiting the guys we want???
I don't know if that's all they're recruiting but lately that's all they seem to be getting commits from.
Seriously though - are you worried? Not too long ago I'd be concerned with this news but what with the class coach B has assembled this year I'm definitely going to give him the benefit of the doubt that we'll be just fine when 2014 rolls around.
Trevion Bluiett, though Indiana is their biggest competition. They're also in it with Devin Booker with Mizzou as their biggest competition. Both are top 50 recruits. If JB can land one of them, they're fine.
It's 2015 that should be their banner year because they are in with so many top prospects like Diamond Stone, Stephen Zimmerman, and Hyron Edwards interested in Michigan.
Luke Kennard is a very good prospect in that class who should see an early offer. Michigan has been there from the beginning, but he is looking at Kentucky schools also. We need to show that we can win big this year.
Except for the other thing. That hurts the most. But the lack of respect hurts the second most.
Diamond Stone is an early nominee for best name of 2015. Mom got REEEEAL creative with that one..
"I think Hoke has changed the tide on the rivalry. Hell people in Ohio are starting to believe him. Never in a million years I would have thought that. Selling Michigan jerseys is a good start."
This weekend in BBall recruiting has been an absolute dong-punch....
I'm glad I don't follow basketball recruiting at all so I don't have to feel depressed about this news I'm assuming is bad.
i am in starving mode now for a recruit : bball or football
Well, thats surprsing...and depressing.

Photography Facebook Page. Lots of Michigan sports photos. And planes, lots of planes:

Hopefully they are both one and done players and barely make a ripple in Big10 play.
Losing out on kids that are in Ohio isn't a big deal. Winning them is. We can't get em all but I'm sure we will get enough.
Get to a final 4 or better and they'll be knocking down our door.
Good times to come fellas. Good times to come.
If we were really having problems recruiting basketball players in Ohio and I were Beilein, I'd consider changing my marketing strategy. Selling Michigan jerseys is a good start.
Coach B is taking them from Indiana, a better basketball producer than Ohio.

Aren't Michigan.
There is a reason we just dropped a gazzilion dollars into facilities etc. mix that with our brand, start winning and BAM!! More winning!!
This unbeaten season they have going has almost every big name recruit looking at them. I think we're back to the days of Michigan v Ohio for the rights to the rose or NC. I can't see ohio losing any big tehhhhn games in the near future and everyone's going to jockey urban muirs dick and praise them and him forever. I can honestly say I have never hated a coach as much as I hate him. He is so arrogant and pompous. I can't wait to beat this asshat this weekend.
There is god, there is family, and then there is MICHIGAN FOOTBALL
far too. Basketball buddy.
If an OSU fan divorces his wife are they still brother and sister?
That is all....

I believe in Beilein. None of these recruits bother me anymore.

Slightly OT - how far are we prepared to reach on the 2014 class? If we aren't getting the type of guys we were hoping for, does it make sense to bank the scholarships or is there a minimum number we will almost certainly use?
http://www.umhoops.com/recruiting/scholarship-breakdown/
If we take no one and have no attrition, we will be completely full. HOWEVA, expect trey burke gone, Hardaway is probably 50/50, GRIII it's too early, but the potential for a leap to the NBA is there. I really don't see McGary's draft stock being high enough unless he really gets better/ healthier. So I would guess 2 draft entries, then you never know with attrition, maybe one more would leave three open scholarships.
Edit: Oops forgot how to read charts. What I said is for next year. We should probably grab at least 2 guys in '14, maybe another in '13. But yeah, interpret the chart as you will.
Except for the other thing. That hurts the most. But the lack of respect hurts the second most.
Was Tate ever considered to be headed to Michigan? I always got the feeling we were playing from behind on this one.
Cool story
