Showed a video of him obliterating some kid as an 11 year old.

Well he didn't say anything about Michigan, which is kinda worrying. Hopefully he's doesn't hop to the jrs. But good lord, the dude can hit. I can't wait to see opponents get Trouba'd next year.

Chris Brown plus Trouba next year could be out of control.

Nothing is ever guaranteed but a co worker of mine knows the Trouba family pretty well and says the kid is everything they say he is. He could definitely make the jump but Jacob apparently really wants to play for Red. Everything subject to change but good to know that's where his head is at.

Hopefully he gets drafted by a team who doesn't want to bring him up right away.

I'm not sure about Merrill, I think he will likely stay because he was suspended fo rmost of the year. But that is only a guess. I can say with certainty that Jacob will get to campus and play at least one year. I have known the family for about 10 years now and I went to school with Jacob. If he committed to coming to Michigan, he will honor his committment. His parents will make sure that he honors that committment and they want him to get an education. He is going to be a helluva a player. He is a freakish athlete. He is the kid that is always the best at every sport he plays. No matter the circumstance.
