Jack Johnson,Ryan Kesler,Marty Turco NHL 2K11

Just heard on the radio, Jack Johnson,Ryan Kesler and Marty Turco are in town doing a promo for the NHL 2K11 video game. A select number of people will get a chance to play the video game against them. Today they will be out in Westland for a couple hours at Best Buy starting at 11am. They will also be parked out infront of Commerica Park tonight before the Tigers game from 5pm-7pm. And two stops tomorrow one at Lifetime Fitness in Commerce Twp around 9am-11am. They will also be at GameStop in Farmington Hills at 1pm-4pm. Look for the NHL 2K11 RV

Kesler is the cover athlete...and Kesler and Jack were in the commercials for NHL 2K10, when Ovechkin was on the cover...maybe Jack will be the next cover athlete...

to me, that they are doing this in Michigan with 2 Michigan players and an Ohio State player...?  Wouldn't it make a ton more sense to replace Kesler with like Abdelkader/Miller (MSU alum, current Wing), or really any MSU grad who might attract a lot more attention in, you know, the state of Michigan?  If Ohio State cared at all about hockey, I might say it's a sad comment on how defunct MSU is, but as it is, it seems weird.  Kesler is a fantastic player and all that, but for pure attention standpoint, I would try to milk the, "He's an ex-Sparty" or "He's a Wing" angle.
