Jabrill Peppers' Paramus Catholic on ESPN 2 at 8:00pm
watched a HS non all star game, I might check in on this.
Juwann Bushell-Beatty as well. Won't do anything as absurdly athletic as Jabrill but he is a committ.
What are the numbers of the Michigan boys?
Peppers nice catch and run for 14 yds.
Showed great closing speed on that touchdown saving tackle.
Paramus blocking like our line on that run. peppers hit in backfield instantly.
my goodness can we put him at LG too?
Whoa Terrence Harris looks good. Kid is going to Iowa. Incredible closing speed on that sack. He came off that block and then exploded.
Peppers is ridiculous. Can he come play for Michigan tomorrow?
Peppers has some burst.
No way is this kid not going to play on offense. Reggie bush sequel
Don't get too excited.. we have Borges as our o coordinator..
I've seen lots of double posts, a few triple posts, but 15X?
Next tim you have such a bad case of hiccups, try holding your breath for maybe, 15 minutes or so? That would permanently cure the problem, i would think.
you watched the whole game?!
I'm not even mad dot jpeg
What number is JBB?
might be best at nickel, safety and offense occasionally? I wouldn't mind him play close to the line like kovak did at times not locked up at CB.
Peppers is #5, and he just jacked that guy on the bubble screen.
The recruiting guys saying Peppers would be the best RB on our team may not be wrong. This kid is unreal in all phases.
Love watching the commit video :)
after his TD
Just a HS game but after this last week seeing the block M felt pretty good
So good. So fun to watch.
Dayum and givin love to the block m
Peppers. 64 yard reception.
Soon as I turn to it Jabrill scores. That felt good.
A little block M with the hands! someone needs to track down that still!
64 yard Td catch :)
Hand M sign after TD
This kid is amazing. Pretty much doing everything including just catching a long TD pass. Part of me wants to see them sit him down for a while but I don't think he's that type. Geez.
Also starting to feel like a Michigan broadcast - love it.
Why would you want him to sit?
so they don't wear him out...was really joking
You never know with kids transitioning from HS to college, but wow! Can't wait, the hype seems to be justified 3 tackles, 36 rush yards 78 receiving, 1TD - 2nd quarter isn't even over.
I can't wait til Borges gets to ram him into the line for one yard.
That made me laugh.
If that doesn't fool everyone I don't know what will
I like him. He is good.
And I concur.
every bit as good as the hype, he is an incredible player, no matter where he plays on the field. It's obvious that he should be put in the Charles Woodson role as soon as he gets on campus.
And oh, just go ahead and give him the # 2 jersey without further delay, no brainer.
IIRC, he has no interest in the #2 jersey (not out of disrespect), but wants to make "#5 the new #2" or something along those lines.
And Peppers looks like a man among boys. How tall is he? Listed at 6'0". That's probably right, but no more. I thought he was a bit taller. Guess he's destined to be an NFL CB. That won't be too far off. Think some NFL scouts are watching this tonight? No doubt.
He does look really physically developed. A lot o these kids look like, you know, kids.
has to do everything, the PC QB is meh
looked okay on that TD pass
but his team mates are making him look good, especially Peppers.
hand looks bigger then everyone but peppers makes more plays and I feel makes a bigger instant impact. I love/want hand but peppers is crazy good considering he isn't any bigger height/weights then everyone else like hand
Hand is #1 only to Rivals.
on that 1st down, had to waste a TO....just give it to Peppers
Can we get this guy Washington too?
QB just threw that ball up there, nice catch by that Washington kid
Peppers does look, well, "different" than the other kids out there. Just faster, stronger, better than most of the guys on that field, which includes a decent number of FBS-quality recruits.
Kick-off, made it look like it is about 10 years old.
I think this game has more talent on the field than UM/Indiana will on Saturday. Top notch HS Football game.
just plain dumb, come on man.
Sorry I didn't spell this out for you.....as most people would realize comparing a New Jersey high school football game to a Big Ten game...would be a tad sarcastic
I don't think you know what sarcastic means....
Has it been mentioned why Jabrill transferred to Paramus Catholic?
I've heard that he just wasn't comfortable there and didn't enjoy it that much. Pretty sure it had nothing to do with football.
can't do it all by himself, his team mates need to stop fumbling
also, uh, "those who stay will be champions" in an uggs commercial before the video- NICE
That was a supremely dumb fake punt. Very obvious and their defense has been doing well all game. Unnecessary.
Weird Al's son doing playing WR for bosco?
both times that Don Bosco kicker made a 40+ yard field goal look easy.
Unfortunately Jabril is hurting now and Paramus in trouble
Peppers just caught a pass in the backfield staring down 3 defenders and magicked it from a 2 yard loss into a 4 yard gain. I want that.
edit: oh yeah, and it looks like he's been playing injured since the first quarter.
This play calling is not the best. Second time it has been 4th and short and they have run an obvious fake punt and thrown an ugly pass. Why not direct snap it to peppers and let him run? It has worked all drive
Favorite meal... half the McDonalds menu
I thought the announcers were going to stop after some items, but he just kept going and going.
yeaaaahh that's gotta stop. Head to Subway or something my man.
Just love the comment about how Coach Parttridge of Paramus took both JBB and Jabril to both Ohio and Michigan, but that both players felt more comfortable with Michigan.
I think you need to run wildcat with Peppers, he gets that all day. Instead you throw it to him in the slot and it gets batted away
Peppers looks totally gassed.
It looks more like he is dealing with cramps.
but how could those refs miss the offsides at the end of the game?
The d line was still in their stance when he was in the backfield
I'm 90 percent sure Don Bosco was offside on that last 4th down stop but they never showed a replay. Rough.
I thought the same thing. 1 looked way offside but that's high school officiating
Paramus lost bc they thought too much. They could have played simpler and won that game. Coach took too many risks and put too much confidence in a QB that had not been very good all night. And that's not even considering all their turnovers
I actually thought the QB looked pretty good. He had a great ability to avoid the rush and was pretty good throwing on the run. My issue was they kept trying to get it all at once when they were down. You don't throw a hail mary when you're trying to run a two minute drill. Quick outs are the way to go, especially with the athletes they have on the field.
His decision making was really what I had the issue with. Also he held the ball too long a few times. I agree with you that they always tried to get to much. Also the throw that peppers fell down on is one the QB probably wishes he had back. All he needed to do was under throw the ball right at him and it was a TD.
He was awful.
Looking forward to many, many more.......
