You realize the team played really good football made some mistakes and didn't execute 100 but they played well. The coaching was sub par. We had out scored them 24-3 in the second half before holy crap drive. This is a good team but is not good enough to overcome many mistakes while the coaches are calling plays trying to limit them.

I don't enjoy watching this team, unlike any other past team.Tired of the turnovers by Gardner, unable to open a hole for the backs, and just struggling every week against shitty teams we should be pounding. Not sure about Funk,Borges, or even Joke at this point.

If this season has shown us anything it's that the Big10 sucks and there's not a single consistent team in the bunch.  Wisconsin and Ohio are the best and I actually think Wisconsin is a little better but had to play in Columbus and will probably miss out on the Rose Bowl because of it.  There's no telling what will happen in any of our games from this point on.

Wisconsin was in know way getting manhandled by OSU.  That is crazy.

Jared Abbrederis:  10 catches for 207 yards.  Single-handedly made the OSU secondary look silly, especially Bradley Roby.

Now, I'm not saying Wisconsin mandhandled OSU or anything like that, but that game was surely not a one-sided affair.

I hate this. If we win out, that's great. But it doesn't change the fact that we've played terribly in many areas so far this year. You're judged on the whole body of work, not just the second half. Not even just W's and L's. Most fans on this site are saavy enough to know what constitutes good football and progress, and many are right to be critical after shit like tonight (and after Akron and after UConn). What don't people like you understand about that?

I think people are rightly pissed off at Funk. If the O Line does not show considerable improvement halfway through next year then I think we pull a Wisco and let it ride. The reason I say that time frame is the O Line is still very young although Magnusson showed some things yesterday and next year is when we will have a lot of still young but talented O linemen that should take a huge step forward. They will all be at least redshirt freshmen and many of them will be redshirt sophomores. We should be able to get a solid enough line out of that and if we don't then a coach needs to go.

What I will say about Borges and Hoke is that by now they should know one of if not the greatest weaknesses of our team is the interior O line so why the heck do we keep running at them expecting different results?

1-5 or 2-4 IF the Hoke and Borges keep insisting on manball/running into eight in the box.

At least 4-2 if they adjust to our personel and keep flinging it at Funchess.

We lose one of Indiana and Iowa, win one of Nebraska, MSU, and NW. Lose to Ohio. I was optomistic up until tonight, but it's clear we have no run game at all, and Gardner isn't the type of QB that can reliably carry the load. We saw two more new OL tonight and already benched another, so it's not like there are options to try to find something that works. Our D will keep us in some games, but ultimately not being able to run will lose us 4 of the 6 remaining.

I'm not a coach or anything but when your tailback has 20 carries and is averaging 0.6 yards a carry and only seemed to have 2 carries for over 1 yard it's time to try something different. I really think Funk lost his job today if not the last month. This is as unacceptable as Gergs defenses where
