The office break room got a new microwave. Problem is it will only work if the door is wide open. I'm about to do a Stan Marsh and get a swollen sack from all this radiation.

On Saturday, I am going to the women's gymnastics meet then to see the hockey game.

AT:  The clue is "this petty issue is bringing EM down, even though it's ridiculous".

EM:  What is "I hate it when a holiday period is followed by a full work week, even though I was working four day weeks during the holiday, because sometimes I whine (internally) about things I should be grateful for"?

AT:  Let's check with the judges.  No, that's incorrect.  It was when you realized you were out of orange juice this a.m.  The judges would also have accepted "when the food delivery truck blocked an entire lane of traffic on the way into work, even though there was a parking lot for it to use."

I'm in Columbus, on tOSU campus actually. Counting the hours until I get on a plane back to NYC tonight.

My son will be watching PJ Masks this weekend and I will be watching football.

Last day at my current company and my birthday. I'm starting at a different place Monday.

for the first time in a mionth.  And by "full week" I mean I took a half day on Monday and left a couple hours early on Tuesday.

Whoop todo! What does it all mean bazzle?

Very unrelated, and I'm pretty new here so I apoligize, but how the heck do MGoPoints work? It seems you must have a certain level to post, and that you can lose them. But HOW? I love the community so far and have had intellectual discussions with people, but have lost points and am unsure why. If someone could brief me on this I'd greatly appreciate it. I have researched around but haven't found a clear answer. Thanks, I greatly appreciate it! And happy Friday.

Turning in my notice on a job I don't like to become an SAP/Hana DBA!!  Training included at the new gig!  WOOT!!!  Goodbye Oracle and Sql Server world for now.  Time to learn something new!

Once everyone is off of work we are going to be heading out into the country in the old all-wheel drive sleigh to embrace the frosty majesty of the winter landscape and make the 8-hour drive to Whistler Blackcomb.  Skiing all day Saturday, rest on Sunday, ski all day Monday and watch the CPF before driving home Tuesday.  

Friday mornin where da weed at?

Due to a merger, today is our company's "holiday" party. At least it starts at 1 PM and is over by 3:30-ish. I have errands to run afterwards, before shops close @ 5 PM. Woot. =/

Because I am still on medical leave, I had perhaps the most unique week I have had in a long time and I even made it to Friday as a bonus. I actually sort of got to see my family, well, operate from getting out the door to school to bedtime. Bedtime is the part I am used to seeing, but the morning breakfast conversation....I am usually long gone by the time that happens. It was interesting. Helping out with daytime chores (the ones within my lifting restrictions)....that was interesting too. 

If nothing else, I did finally get a new phone the other day (venturing out for a few hours each day to get some light activity is helping my recovery) after a few years and much huffing and puffing on my part. I even made my ringtone the music from "This Week In Baseball" just to maximize the annoyance everyone will feel.

has been very challenging personally and I'm planning to leave work about 330 and take the advice of Thornton Melon:

"Bring us a pitcher of beer every 7 minutes until somebody passes out.  Then bring one every 10 minutes"

the first half of my birthday is being spent trying to get up out of bed, but this hangover is nasty and I'm not sure when that'll be.

then tonight getting the birthday special at the chophouse. Nothing is better than getting big discounts on delicious steak! Harbaugh would be proud

I received my bonus today. Yahoo! In other news, fuck taxes. They turn $2 into $1 in an instant.

Looks like I picked up a cold somewhere between Orlando and Chicago and it's a bad one.  I think I feel like the Florida football team did after the game.  However, nothing will take the shine off the memories from this year's Citrus Bowl, cold be damned.

working ..today is the last day of the CES show and pretty much EVERYONE has left so Im sitting here at my desk with abso freaking  nothing to do for the next 8 hours except read everything on this Blog....I just found out my client changed her return flight to leave today instead of tommorow so I have the whole day off and still getting paid for tommorow...HELLO SLOTS!.....

I need them!  I crave them!  Let's go!!!!
