Weird end to the week. Sometimes, you've got to dig a little deeper, but it is Friday after all. Let's enjoy and reflect on who could possibly have it better than us.

I have a feeling she'll be taking my information for overnight shipping at UPS someday. She has that look.
Difference between staee and Cheerios?
Cheerios belongs in a bowl!
Though I do love a good tramp.
What if instead of a real POSBANG we had a silent one? You know, sort of like a silet commmit.
Thank you all for the plethora of silent upvotes.
Army AA game tomorrow, National Championship game on Monday...savor it.
Plus there's this...
and recruit commits!
I was on on an airplane with Bloody Mary in hand at 5:30 on this fine morning on my way to Naples. Who's got it better than us?
Whoever is flying first class on your flight...
I'll owe you one....
Got you covered Ducky
No still no one has it better than us.
Naples Florida. I prefer Italy in the spring/summer. Just working mixed with a little golf for a long weekend. I always see plenty of Michigan fans down in Naples to make it even more enjoyable.
humble brag
That's cool, I just got back from a vaction in Naples were I saw family and watched the Citrus Bowl amongst Gator fans. It was a great vacation. Hope you have safe travels and have fun!
I thought Italy at first . . . daughter's best friend was stationed there.
But now I'm thinking you're probably headed to Florida. Nice time of year, especially if you like retirees. I lived in Bradenton 3 years, and the area from Naples to Clearwater is Senior Central from January through March. I think that area has the highest per capita number of whilte Lincolns and Cadillacs.
Either way, have a good trip.
I'm off to NOLA at lunchtime. May follow this guy's example during travel:
You'll never beat the Boggs

Still pink. bah-dum-psh.
I do believe this is the first time I've ever seen it spelled out. Good on ya!
That's my Tuesday routine
Do you need some gloves?
lolz
It's Friday! My wife and I just closed on our first home last night!
Sent from MGoBlog HD for iPhone & iPad
That closing process can be hectic, especially when documents are requested 3 days before closing, but afterwards you can start living the dream.
congrats in obtaining crushing debt for the next 15-30 years....err, I mean your new home.
Well done. Time to christening the place
The office break room got a new microwave. Problem is it will only work if the door is wide open. I'm about to do a Stan Marsh and get a swollen sack from all this radiation.
Thank god this work week is almost over.

Gotta get down on Friday. Everybody's looking forward to the weekend.
Fun fun fun fun
Here's hoping we pick up a commit or three at tomorrow's Army All-American Game in San Antonio. GO BLUE!!!
If it's Friday, then... BANG me!
First week back to school routine, and first 5 day week in a while.
But it's finally Friday....
Excited to be coming back to Michigan this weekend for a wedding! Lots of free Michigan beers are in my near future!

It's Friday. Second day of job interview. Big day.
Best of luck!
Good luck!
It is Friday. I am happy.
Hello ... it's a wonderful word hello
Silence in motion?
I'll take one of those Firdays you kids seem to all be talking about.
Happy Friday and making it through the first work week of the year. And to all of our silent commits to going public.
Be gentle
I told you the floor was lava, Mom!
On Saturday, I am going to the women's gymnastics meet then to see the hockey game.
EM: I'll take First World Problems for $200 Alex.
AT: The clue is "this petty issue is bringing EM down, even though it's ridiculous".
EM: What is "I hate it when a holiday period is followed by a full work week, even though I was working four day weeks during the holiday, because sometimes I whine (internally) about things I should be grateful for"?
AT: Let's check with the judges. No, that's incorrect. It was when you realized you were out of orange juice this a.m. The judges would also have accepted "when the food delivery truck blocked an entire lane of traffic on the way into work, even though there was a parking lot for it to use."
I'm in Columbus, on tOSU campus actually. Counting the hours until I get on a plane back to NYC tonight.
I'm envious. I live here and cannot leave unlike you. Tragic.

Back in the late 80s, I spent the better part of 3 months in Columbus working an IT project for AT&T Computer Systems (I bet noone on the board even knows that business existed, but that's what AT&T got to do when they agreed to break up the Bell System). I'd fly in on Monday and count the days until Friday when I got to leave that pit.
My son will be watching PJ Masks this weekend and I will be watching football.
Last day at my current company and my birthday. I'm starting at a different place Monday.
Happy birthday and good luck!
Congrats on your new job and Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday! And I hope your new company treats you well.
Happy Birthday and good luck at your new job!!
Redditor I see.
there are dozens of us. dozens!
Oh sweet it Friday! I think I'll just take it easy and work and peruse the MGoBoard for some friendly, upbeat informa .... oh son of a b*tch!
i have now pirated it. thank you for posting.
for the first time in a mionth. And by "full week" I mean I took a half day on Monday and left a couple hours early on Tuesday.
Here's to everyone having a good weekend.
So not a full week at all.
It felt like a full week though.
31 1/2 hours is a full week to me! (ducks)
But he was there everyday?
i know you've said you work or did work in banking and I wonder if you might work for the same firm as I do, seeing as we have similar work schedules.
But then I noticed that you're in SEC Country, so it would be unlikely. My company doesn't really have any branches or operations down south, save for Texas.
the job probably isn't too different firm to firm!
Whoop todo! What does it all mean bazzle?
Very unrelated, and I'm pretty new here so I apoligize, but how the heck do MGoPoints work? It seems you must have a certain level to post, and that you can lose them. But HOW? I love the community so far and have had intellectual discussions with people, but have lost points and am unsure why. If someone could brief me on this I'd greatly appreciate it. I have researched around but haven't found a clear answer. Thanks, I greatly appreciate it! And happy Friday.
1) You cannot create topic in the forum until you reach 100 points, after 500 or 600, you can then post when the board goes into "lock down" mode. I have yet to see this happen...maybe it's because it didn't happen before I got to the point threshold.
2) You lose points by being downvoted, this can happen for several reasons: a poorly placed or unfunny joke, people not liking what you say or not agreeing with your opinion, people trolling you just because, spelling or grammar errors, being inflammatory or insulting specific players by name, talking about religion or politics, complaining about your points, complaining about being down voted, etc.
Feel free to let me know if this doesn't explain it, don't worry about losing points though, just keep posting and everything will work itself out.
That clears it up perfectly! I will definitely use/save this for the future. Also good to know I didn't necessarily do anything wrong to lose points, which caused me to worry.
I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to thoroughly describe the process to me. I hope to return the favor sometime! Have a great weekend.
He forgot the biggest reason for getting downvoted on the board: being Wolverine Devotee.Try to avoid that...
All of the above. Also: Don't be a troll. Don't be a twat.
Turning in my notice on a job I don't like to become an SAP/Hana DBA!! Training included at the new gig! WOOT!!! Goodbye Oracle and Sql Server world for now. Time to learn something new!
Once everyone is off of work we are going to be heading out into the country in the old all-wheel drive sleigh to embrace the frosty majesty of the winter landscape and make the 8-hour drive to Whistler Blackcomb. Skiing all day Saturday, rest on Sunday, ski all day Monday and watch the CPF before driving home Tuesday.
Very jealous!! I live out east and we are having the worst start to a ski season ever. I'm usually at the mountains at least one a week and haven't been once! Maybe flying out west soon.
That was the winter we had last year. Multiple ski resorts never even opened. Last year when I was at Whistler it rained and half the runs were closed because of the low snow amount. This year so far has been great for the Oregon resorts and Whistler.
Friday mornin where da weed at?
and nowhere, if you know what I mean
Due to a merger, today is our company's "holiday" party. At least it starts at 1 PM and is over by 3:30-ish. I have errands to run afterwards, before shops close @ 5 PM. Woot. =/
Because I am still on medical leave, I had perhaps the most unique week I have had in a long time and I even made it to Friday as a bonus. I actually sort of got to see my family, well, operate from getting out the door to school to bedtime. Bedtime is the part I am used to seeing, but the morning breakfast conversation....I am usually long gone by the time that happens. It was interesting. Helping out with daytime chores (the ones within my lifting restrictions)....that was interesting too.
If nothing else, I did finally get a new phone the other day (venturing out for a few hours each day to get some light activity is helping my recovery) after a few years and much huffing and puffing on my part. I even made my ringtone the music from "This Week In Baseball" just to maximize the annoyance everyone will feel.
Good to hear that you're on rhe mend, and since you still have some physical restrictions, Bang gently LSA.
has been very challenging personally and I'm planning to leave work about 330 and take the advice of Thornton Melon:
"Bring us a pitcher of beer every 7 minutes until somebody passes out. Then bring one every 10 minutes"
the first half of my birthday is being spent trying to get up out of bed, but this hangover is nasty and I'm not sure when that'll be.
then tonight getting the birthday special at the chophouse. Nothing is better than getting big discounts on delicious steak! Harbaugh would be proud
I received my bonus today. Yahoo! In other news, fuck taxes. They turn $2 into $1 in an instant.

Group shot at noon?
I'm going to do a little scouting tonight as I am road-tripping to Hillsdale to watch Austin Davis play.
We made it.
Looks like I picked up a cold somewhere between Orlando and Chicago and it's a bad one. I think I feel like the Florida football team did after the game. However, nothing will take the shine off the memories from this year's Citrus Bowl, cold be damned.
Happy Friday!! Everyone take your vitamins!!
What are you drinking? Me, water. It's 8 here.
