And here I thought it was going to be the Scott Steiner promo in Columbus. SOMEONE POST SCOTT STEINER'S PROMO IN COLUMBUS PLEASE!

EDIT: just watched the video. I miss Bo. I miss Woodson in Maize and Blue.

I get maize & blue goose pimples hearing his calls.

My personal favorite is the 1973 game. First you have Hare, Middleton and the Buckeyes tearing down the M Club Banner and then you have the "Oh my God, Dennis Frankin! He fooled you; He fooled me!"

Needless to say, Ufer will be on heavy rotation at my tailgate this Saturday.

Gotta love good old Bo. That guy was an amazing man and he is missed every day. I hope that some of the players get to see that video, especially the younger ones somewhat new to the rivalry. Now, I don't know about the rest of the MGoBloggers, but I have been pumped for this game all week. I don't expect Michigan to win this game, but I expect them to fight their asses off on Saturday starting at Noon. Some players on this team are having their character questioned and their effort and skill. Guys like BG need to carry this team both emotionally and physically on the field this weekend. I expect to see this team play at least a little more like they did to start the season. Big game, a win might cause a "rush the field" situation. Could be anywhere from an amazing win for RichRod, or a depression inducing loss to end the season and cause us to jump straight to basketball. Can't wait, I'm hoping for the win.

I miss that edginess too. Did you see Hart in the clip of the teams trash talking at midfield? He literally had to be dragged back by the coaches. I miss that aggression and I even miss the fighting back when you get shoved down. I don't care if everyone else says "wow that's so unclassy". It's The Game.

Bring back Leon Hall and put him in JT Floyd's jersey, put Woodson in Woolfolk's jersey and put Shazor in Brandon Smith's jersey. Put David Harris in Ezeh's jersey and Larry Foote in Mouton's jersey. Put David Bowens in Roh's jersey and Alan Branch in Van Bergen's jersey. The Beast, The Hulk, and The Lone Soldier can stay.

Spot the ball.

We do have a shot at winning this game. Rivalry games can go either way because so much emotion goes into it on and off the field.

I love being a part of the best rivalry in College Footbal!

Go Blue!

I won't even bullshit you guys. This video made me tear up a tad. But no tears of pain, but tears of PRIDE! And I hope to God that RR has gotten a hold of this and is playing this for the team. It may seem like we are at our darkest hour, and nobody is giving them a chance. I hope that they win on Saturday because these kids need it and deserve it. They have heard nothing but negativity for the past two months, about them, their coach, and the program as a whole. Even if they lose, I hope they play their asses off and send that armpit to the south of us a message. Just don't get reckless and get carried away like "little brother" did.

Now I can't sleep. I knew I shouldn't have watched that video right before bed. :>)

Seriously, if you've got blue in your veins, you can't watch that and not be pumped up.

Oh well, guess it's time to pull out a couple of those old highlight videos and stay up late.

I am useless at work like i am every osu week anyways, so what's the point of sleeping.

I don't typically like all the war analogies as referenced to sporting events and whatnot. Just a personal preference of mine because of the fact that real men have lost real lives on real battlefields fighting for things we can't begin to compare to entertainment events.
HOWEVER I do make an exception for osu week. For the greatest rivalry in modern sport IMHO.
This saturday we go to battle! This saturday we try to restore this great rivalry to what it should be! This saturday we take what we want so bad to rightfully be ours once again! This saturday. This saturday at high noon.

Holy crap it's only tuesday and my heart is pumpin!!!

Not to be a buzz kill at all, but it is kind of depressing to find myself motivated about something in which I can have no affect.

Devotion is the best and worst mistress.

And I would bet his record against OSU was better than most. I tried to look up his amateur record and all I could find was this:
1983 Division I Big 10 – Fifth place[1]
1984 Division I Big 10 – Runner up[1]
1985 Division I Big 10 – Runner up[1]
1986 Division I Big 10 – Runner up[1]
1986 Division I All American – Sixth place

It doesn't look like he lost very often.
