I bought tix for the Iowa game in mid-july and just received them yesterday.I also used them to get tix for the game there in '09. I didn't see alot of people scalping tix in Iowa City but they sure as hell view Michigan as their Super Bowl, no doubt.

Scalping on the streets. I bought a ticket for less than face value from a nice older couple. I even sat with them for half the game before sliding into the UM section. I highly recommend going to any and all of our games at Iowa. Good tailgating there's some crazy bus parked with live bands and beer trucks, fun bars, nice people.

be kinda careful of that. I made a trip to Iowa one year with plans of scalping and couldnt find a thing until well into the opening quarter. ended up dropping $100 for single seats. (worth every penny, we won in OT) The student tickets require student id to enter. They do have student tickets where you have to walk in with a student.
My wife's family has season tickets to iowa and I haven't missed an Iowa Michigan game in many years. Ive been told the michigan game is like a super bowl in Iowa City to hawkeye fans.

I suggest scalping at the game but, you can alway use Craigslist.

I was there in 2009 and didn't see a single seller. Great college town and atmosphere. Had a blast.

You must have been in the wrong place. I went with a group of ten. 2 people had tickets. The rest of us found them by 430 pm nobody paid more than 20 over face.

... Facebook Marketplace. Can always find someone selling there (at least when I look), and i have used it to buy tickets to various Football and Basketball games the past 2 years.

E-bay usually gives you better prices than Stub Hub....

M undergrad who just started medical school here at Iowa. Craigslist has a load of Hawkeye tickets, they run over $100 easily. Student tickets are just like Michigan's, you need to have a student ID to get into the stadium, so keep that in mind if you're trying to find a ticket. I got my ticket the day after the Iowa AD started selling single game tickets and I just barely got one.
If you end up pre-gaming on Woodside Dr you'll see the third story window, looking out on to the tailgating parking lot, proudly displaying a Block-M flag! GO BLUE!

I went to the game in 2009, froze our asses off, but had a good time. I was lucky because I met a guy whose parents were in the Kinnick Society, and they sold me two tix for face value basically on the 50-yard line, which was incredibly generous.
I'm trying to get the local Hawkeye choads around here to hook me up with tix, or else it's Stubhub/Craig's List/Ebay, I guess.

I checked the Iowa AD ticket sales in mid July and they had no tickets sale to the general public this year. I have attended this game several times in the past and was able to buy tickets for the Michigan game through the AD web site. The students must have purchased all the tickets for this game?
Hopefully, Iowa will lose several games and I can get tickets on stub hub at a decent price for the Michigan game in early October!
Only other option is to go and find a scalper to buy tickets from! I won't go if both teams are undefeated!

I actually live in Iowa myself and am working on getting tickets as well. There are quite a few on StubHub but not cheap. If you're willing to wait, prices will go WAY down if (and by if, i mean when) Iowa starts out cold and loses a few games. Craigslist is always a good bet but watch out for the student section seats...
