Here's the place for hot takes on just about everything else.

The way most of the interpretations read in the rulebook, even that is going to get called most of the time, but of course the problem we will always have here is that it was called THAT time. Even though I hear everyone in that it looked pretty incidental, it's likely gets called as it did more often than not. I was pissed all the same, of course.

Sometimes every bounce goes against you on the same day you play your worst, and even though you still have a chance you come up short.  There's still two games to get to the conference championship game and achieve our goals.  GO BLUE.

Playcalling I've seen all year. We didn't get outcoached, but we got evenly coached, against Ferentz, which means we got outcoached. Hooray!

Oh, and the refs can also suck donkey dick and choke on it.

This week officially on record as the suckiest week ever. I haven't drank alcohol in 13 years. I think I'm going to need ample amounts to delete this from my brain.

So predictable.  And not making use of what was working.  Evans up the middle was awesome.  But the coaches refused to go back to that more than a few times.  Instead, they went for 60 yard bombs with a QB who was hurt and underthrowing everthing.  Dumb

The coaches have some horrible nack of making these kids incredibly nervous and tight in the important games.  I am in shock at how badly everyone played and coached tonight.

A run up the middle with the end zone at your heels with a plodder taking the handoff at a point when he'd only run for 6 yards on 4 carries, or something like that. Jake Butt is *usually* the surest bet in that situation, but...we were at Iowa, so nothing that normally makes sense makes any damned sense.

Those play calls after the last interception were straight out of the Carr/Debord/Hoke/Borges playbook.  I had really hoped I'd seen the end of that ultra conservative bullshit.

I don't think Carr/Debord would've thrown that 3rd down pass at the end.  That as not conservative at all.  What if it gets picked?  Conservative may have been the right thing to do, too.  Iowa has to use their timeout, has less time, etc., etc.

I think we dicked around too much.

Miss every open deep route.

Key plays where their OC beats Don Brown in the RPS. Like the first touchdown.

BS facemask call at the perfect time.

Panicky play calling in general on O.

And how the hell someone would not think some kind of run was coming to the middle of the field on the last play before the kick makes me think that sometimes people just have a fucking mental siezure or something.

Fucking horrific day at the fucking office.
