Iowa on the road should be a good test

I hope that we iron out some of the kinks on offense, because Iowa should be a pretty tough test next week. While I did not think that Iowa would be great this year, I have to say that I was incredibly impressed with the way their front four played at Penn State last week. Offensively, their best lineman (Bulaga) should round back into form after his first game back from injury. I cannot say that I am that optimistic heading into a raucous atmosphere on the road, but this Michigan team seems to surprise me when I least expect it. Here's to hoping that we come to play!

Yeah I mean, how many night games are we going to get all year on ABC? This is the only one I'd bet. Probably a good sign that it is a big game / big test.

We're not a great team, but we are a dangerous team. We have the offensive firepower to hang with anybody in this conference. We'll also lay a few eggs. Yesterday was an egg. Next week we could knock off Iowa. It will be a roller coaster season.

It seems Iowa plays to their competition's level, so maybe that will be in our favor Saturday. If not, I am extremely worried for Saturday night after what I saw for the majority of the game yesterday.

Iowa's offense does not put up many points. Yeah, they have a great defense, but we are averaging over 30 PPG. If Tate & Co. play like they did in the ND game, then it will be another nail-biter. We can steal this game.
