Iowa QB as Chad Henne
This should pass some time until the UFR comes out. Adam Jacobi, over at BHGP, made an interesting analogy involving Iowa's QB James Vandenberg and Michigan's Chad Henne:
The guy Vandenberg reminds me of--and this is going to make Brian Cook shoot nuclear missiles at my house from Ann Arbor in protest--is Chad Henne. They've both got...
I'm not qualified to comment on the analogy but I hope it turns out to be true. I don't think this was being said after Vandenberg played moderately well in a loss to OSU a few years ago though.

His reasons: nice touch on throws, immobility, and they both followed good QBs at their respective schools.
I haven't watched JVB play much, so I don't really know what his game is like. But I feel like you need more than those three things to be similar to Chad. Henne was a very good player in college. His stats aren't big, but they didn't really have to be.

JVB will not have the ability to show us this over 4 years and hasn't really played since 2009. Has a little ways to go until the kool-aid should be consumed.

Is JVB part robot? If not, Robo-Henne has him beat.

Didn't Henne throw for nearly 10,000 yards and 90 TDs by the time his career ended? Yeah...

I wonder if that bit of code is in his memory chips somewhere?

Blasphemy

And I hope I wasn't giving the impression that JVB was going to set career records at Iowa--he's clearly not going to approach what Henne accomplished. Just that their styles were similar.
Thank you for not calling me a butthead.
