I didn't see this posted on the board yet but per MGoBlue.com, the Iowa game will be a 12 pm kickoff with coverage on ESPN/ESPN2. Let the complaining about noon starts begin!

M v. NMU BBall replay on BTN at 4pm today....(the more you know)
Man, now only 4 hours of tailgating.
UM vs osu 2011 bring your keys and make noise (get it keys!)
Lord help the Liveblog moderators if we are subjected to Beth Mowins for two weeks in a row.
this weeks game is on espn. the 3D show with Brian Griese on color com. Working the game as a camera op. I love the camera meetings because Brian breaks down the game and tells us what he is looking for on both teams. I think he does a great job. cant wait. Go Blue
Who is complaining about noon games?
You know, Dude, I myself dabbled in pacifism once. Not in 'Nam of course.
If you look at previous noon announcement threads, there is usually quite a bit of moaning about noon games because people have to get up earlier in order to get in tailgating before hand. I personally (not that anyone cares) am ambivilent for the most part although do prefer noon starts when attending games.
I prefer noon games only cause I can only tailgate for so long before I get bored with cornhole, drinking and dealing with flirty drunk girls who don't call you when they sober up.

why would you want to talk to flirty drunk girls once they sober up?
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - The most famous of which is never get involved in a land war in Asia - but only slightly less well-known is this: Never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line!
What I'm implying is that you get their phone number when they are drunk. You try to get a hold of them sometime after the game and they are no longer drunk and want nothing to do with me. I admit, ladies love me when they are drunk, when they're sober it's a different story.

I actually prefer 9am Pacific starts, because it doesn't torpedo the whole day. Keeps the wife happy, because I'm done with football watching by lunch and have the rest of the day to enjoy living at the beach and to play with my kids.
Yep, same here. But even before I was married with kids I preferred it. When the game starts at 1230, the bulk of the day is taken up. When the game is over by 1230, you have have M football and a full beach day. I could even catch the end of the Malloy's breakfast crew.
full of 3:30 and 8pm starts I welcome a couple noon'ers
We spent all that money on those shiny new lights? Brandon's ROI for those lights is not living up to expectations. After all, it is not Sparty!
No night games in November. It gets cold in November.
2 years ago was in October and it was cold. It is football fergodsakes!
That's not the point, it's a B1G rule that no B1G home team can have a night game in November.
Blank.....Blank......You're not looking at the big picture here.
I hope this post is a troll. The November night game issue has been covered ad nauseum. There is no such B1G rule.
This is MICHIGAN
I was hoping one of the last two games would be 330
-UM class of 2018
The noon start for Iowa actually works out for me as this will be the first game to which I will be bringing the kids (noon means they won't be on the downslide towards bed quite yet), weather permitting, of course (not taking them if it is rather cold or rainy, of course). They are six and five, so they are probably a little too young to stay for the whole thing, but they do seem to enjoy football and we're going to give this a try and see how long they last. We'll be with a small group, including my wife and her parents. If you see someone in line for multiple rounds of fries and water, that's me.

Relatively ambivalent, while I love to tailgate sometimes 3:30 starts almost give me too much time. I wouldn't have said that awhile ago, but considering my roomies have a tendency to blackout before 3:30 starts a noon start will be a nice break from playing house mom [also, I'm a guy, but yeah] for them.
I tend to enjoy the 3:30 starts early in the year when the weather is nicer, but prefer noon starts when it starts getting so cold.
At any rate, thanks to the OP.
HAIL.
I work saturdays seasonally, so tailor made for me would be 3:30's until mid october, then noon from then out with the occaisional night game for flavor.
This is where I place my order for game times, right? Get on it, DB.
Not surprising at all considering that most home games in November seem like noon starts anyway.
Blank.....Blank......You're not looking at the big picture here.
We've had enough 3:30 starts for the year to make me happy. Much better than last season.
"Ohio is like a giant turd that Michigan just can't pinch off"
Considering how late I've been showing up for work lately on saturdays I guess this ensures they won't fire me for showing up late once again this year. So yay!

Good. I'll be up with a party of 6 from Iowa for that game. I'd prefer the early start, preceded with a few hours of tailgating, and have the rest of the day for more footbal watchingl/taking in the town/etc.. And, since I'll be there, no worries of who I'd normally have to listen to broadcast it (I actually don't think Beth Mowins is that bad, but still).
I marked the November home games as Noon before the season even started on my schedule. Like I said, Michigan only plays home games in November at Noon. Period.
I love me some Noon starts. That's the way Bo would have it. That's the way it should be.
When the ADept sells special jerseys and gear, you'll see my picture next to the targeted customer crowd. A sheep.....but a Blue one.....
on a black and white 13" Zenith TV with tin foil around the rabbit ears right? Cuz that's the way Bo would want it. You're so off base. If Bo recognized both the recruiting advantage and the crowd advantage of later games, especially under the lights, he'd play them all at night. To assume otherwise proved to me you've never met Bo, nor do you understand the intricacies of college football.
FWIW: LSU has played 37 home night games since 2005, and have averaged a top 5 recruiting class ever since. Les knows Bo!
I prefer noon games. And we've had too many 3:30 or later games this year anyway.
Also good news not having this on the BTN.
Go Blue! Always!
I prefer noon home games and 330 road games.
