ClearEyesFullHart, you do a much better job at this.

They are 11-3 on the year and 0-1 in the Big Ten.

Losses

vs Wichita State (13-1) on neutral court. 75-63

at Virginia Tech (9-4).                                 95-79

vs Indiana (13-1)                                         69-65

Key Wins

vs Iowa State (10-3)                                    80-71

vs N. Iowa (7-7) on neutral court.             80-73

Starting Five (based on Indiana game)

JR. G-F. Roy Devyn Marble. 15.6 ppg. 31.1 min/game (both team highs)

SO. F.    Aaron White. 13.7 ppg. 6.4 rpg (team high)

FR. C.   Adam Woodbury. 7-1. 235 lbs. 6.4 ppg. 5.4 rpg. .9 bpg.

FR. G.   Anthony Clemmons. 4.3 ppg. 3.9 apg (team high)

FR. G.    Mike Gesell. 9.6 ppg. 3.3 apg

Marble and Clemmons are both from Michigan.

Other Key Players

JR. F.   Zach McCabe.  5.6 ppg. 4.0 rpg

JR. F.  Melsahn Basabe.  6.6 pph. 4.1 rpg.  His minutes have dwindled throughout the year.

Key Stats

They're not a good 3 point shooting team, shooting 31% on the year.

2nd in the conference in blocks, 3rd in rebounds.

They turn the ball over the 3rd most in the conference, 13.7 per game.

They're middle of the pack as far as FG%, 44%.

What I make out of all of this

They aren't the best shooters, but they get a lot of rebounds, and thus they're 4th in the BIG in scoring.  They are a pretty young team, like us, but they don't take care of the ball as well as we do.  The matchup to keep an eye on is Woodbury vs Morgan.

Prediction: Michigan 78 - Iowa 62

According to some Iowa friends, he was always a high floor, low ceiling type of guy. Ideally an energy guy/6th man off the bench (which is his role now), but started because of total lack of talent at Iowa when McCaffery got there

Last year in Iowa City, a shitty Iowa team blew us out of the arena.  They were last in the big ten and we were the only team they beat all month.  And they never made a return trip to Crisler so we couldn't get revenge.

I hope we blow them out by 50.

And thanks for picking up the slack. Leisure time at work has dried up, and fatherhood has been kicking my arse. Go Blue!

I know the team has emphasized not overlooking anyone and taking one game at a time, but I really hope they turn it out specifically for Iowa tomorrow.

I think Iowa is the sleeper no one is talking about and will end up surprising the conference by finishing ahead of one of the pre-elected contenders (MSU, Illinois, Wisconsin), and on top of that, well they handled us like whoa last year.

Here's for Trey, Morgan, and Hardaway getting a little bit of revenge.
