Interview with Maurice Hurst, Jr.
Mike from TTB interviewed Maurice Hurst, Jr. about why he picked Michigan, the game he's looking forward to the most, and what he thinks about potentially playing in the offensive backfield.

I wish him all the best. I also wish him 4 wins over Ohio.
Who is his father that played in the NFL?
Not sure if I'm missing the joke, but Maurice Hurst.
My guess would be Maurice Hurst.
WTF am I going to do to get my M-wood on? Can someone please start a soft-core MgoBewb blog?

They make pills for that.
could get great Michigan recruiting coverage and look at silcone in one place. It was like reading Playboy for the articles!
Actually, I assume this is good news for TTB. When you have to sanitize a website it means you are going mainstream and attracting a broader audience. Congrats.
It's potentially good news. The site is still growing. Personally, I think girls and football go well together, because add in some food and you're good to go.
Yes, his father played cornerback for the Patriots from 1989 to 1995. He had played for Southern University and had been the Patriots 4th pick in the 1989 NFL Draft.
Magnus, the surprising thing from your site's interview with Maurice, Jr. is that he has no relationship with his father. Not sure whether you'd seen this article about him, but there are some more details here: http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2012/09/04/rising-son/kpVntGLJAR8EMJrSiFyYCM/story.html Wonder whether he'll go back to wearing number 73 (the reverse of his father's number with the Patriots), now that number 11 has become a Michigan Legends jersey number.
Sounds like Michigan will have a good young man joining the football team this year; and if Notre Dame has Louis Nix taking snaps this coming season, then Maurice Hurst, Jr. running for Michigan out of the pistol or shotgun might be an interesting scheme for the Wolverines offense to consider.
That was a great read.
I imagine Maurice in this suit but in Michigan colors. Give em the rock.
Riddell or Schutt should look into making football helmets look like that. I think that might help with the concussion problems.
Can you imagine running a post route in that helmet LOL.
Nice interview, and thanks for sharing.
It is nice to see the family culture of the program come up consistently in interviews as one of the primary drivers for recruits and signees. This and the tradition, which Hurst also mentions, make us that much more attractive, I would say. Most importantly, Hurst - and others have mentioned it - they trust the staff to put them in positions where they can succeed.
Thanks for posting this. Maurice Jr sounds like such a great kid and his mom sounds great too
Unfortunately Sr is a massive douchebag for not supporting his son. I have no respect for deadbeats like his dad.
