Below is the link to a interview I did with Ant Wright. He played on Beilein's first team at U-M and was there from 06-10. I have permission to post this from some of the mods. Oh you're back again, huh?  I didn't even realize (which definitely points to a better start than before).  I certainly hope you can last a week or two longer this time around than your prior incarnations.

I seem to associate him with the Oklahoma game. IIRC he was hitting shots and basically single-handedly keeping us in the game as Blake Griffin just rampaged on poor Novak (it also helped that Blake basically just jumped on people and they were called for the foul for daring to get in the way of another highlight reel dunk)

manny got called for two horrible fouls against griffin; one for just merely boxing him out for a rebound and backing him under the basket.  we win that game but for those two bad calls, since manny fouled out, iirc.

the refs protected griffin, their superstar, but not ours.

At last report, Wright coached in Linden (near Flint) after a little time spent at Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard in 2011. I would be curious to know if that's still the case actually. He did some work in Ypsilanti at another school as well and seemed to have something of a passion for coaching young kids - it would have been interesting to have some more in-depth answers on that.

I find the constant self promotion of your log on another to be in poor taste. Even if I was interested in the content I probably wouldn't click on the link as this is the wrong way to generate traffic.

He seems like a fan who is just doing this for fun.

Based on the prevalence of posters here who have blogs and advertise them in their signatures, or who have had their material posted to the board when they have something good/funny to say, I don't see the issue.

Brian has a whole giant list of links to different Michigan blogs on the side bar and to my knowledge has never been like, "Hey, don't post videos from MZone, or recruiting info from Touch The Banner." Based on all of that information, if Brian doesn't have a problem with it, I don't see why you or anyone else should.

People who have written for or created other Michigan blogs have always been a huge part of this site.

The Wright Stuff!!! Great interview. I think Amaker is an oddly similar situation to Hoke. A good teacher and high character individual who doesn't have the strategic acumen that it takes to win at a high level. I'm getting through this football off season by reminding myself that the bball situation was even bleaker 10 years ago.

He actively roots for Michigan every game and has some actual insight into what is going on (just saying). All I remember from him playing was cringing every time he took a three I just never thought he was going to make it, but still one tough dude and brought every other aspect of his game to the floor.

Glad to see he is doing well in his life after Michigan.

NIce interview.  Do yourself a favor and check question 17 for a redundant apostrophe.  Then it will be perfect.  And about those critics: for someone fourteen, you are already kicking ass.  Keep up the good work.
