What a pile of shit why would Clemson jump us? That makes no sense. We both played at home against top 10 teams.

Just my opinion but a win over Louisville is much more impressive than a win over Wisconsin. I think M is a better team than they showed yesterday, despite the dominating defensive performance but 80 percent of AP voters didn't see anything other than highlights of the game. Nothing to worry about, that's just how the process works. Win our games and we will be right where we need to be. Doesn't matter what AP voters think.

If you've been a cfb for more than one season, you should know things are subject to, and usually do change on a weekly basis. Clemson did the same thing we did, come back late in the game against an outstanding opponent. They might stumble next week and we might win big.Polls adjust weekly because of this but the things that matter are always decided on the field over the course of a season and not in a one week window.

If such were not the case, OSU and FSU would not have broken -temporarily- Bama's strangle hold on that trophy.

Louisville to date had been the most impressive looking team in the country, IMO.  I have no issue with Clemson being ranked ahead of us now, just as I had no issue with them dropping below us after some sloppy play earlier.

Honestly, we probably belong right where we are.  We've been very good; I have trouble making an unbiased argument for us being better than Alabama, OSU, or Clemson right now.  That can always change, and I hope it will.  Obviously beating Ohio State would make our case pretty strongly.

and won by one score. But you have to use subjectivity at this point. Clemson faced one of the best teams and definitely the best player in the nation. No, they did not stop him, but for the first time all season they held him to "human like" stats.

That young man is very impressive and that team is impressive. Clemson's win shines brighter than ours right now, but as OP stated, it will play out and if we do our job - which includes taking down No.1 or 2, dpending on who's polling - we will be just fine. I can't disagree that Clemson and Louisville should be one spot apart in any poll.

I think Wisconsin is a legit top 10 team.  That defense is special, and it will keep them in every game - including against OSU in a couple of weeks.  Thier offense needs to just be able to keep the ball long enough to score a few times.  With that defense, if they put up 21 they win.  While that might not be enough against high scoring bball on grass teams like Clemson, OSU, or Louisville, it will be enough against everyone else on thier schedule.

And neither Clemson nor Louisville have a good enough defense to keep UW from scoring.  I don't think UW is on par with the top 5 (Clemson, Louisville, OSU, Bama, UM), but they're even with everyone else.

All that said, Clemson jumped us because of style points with the high scoring.  That is all.
