Love the new format. Not that I didn't like the old one, but it's kind of cool to see a change.

It's 100% the same depth chart. No G. Glasgow, Kalis still 3rd string. My guess, it won't be updated until tomorrow due to the holiday.

From his presser, it looks like Hoke isn't going to let the actual depth chart go public, at least for the OL.

was just fine for about 3 decades, thru 2007.
Another example of 'when it's not broke...'

While I like the new format in the beginning, the end leaves us without any preview to the Notre Dame game...at least not like they use to do, so in that respect at least the old format gave us a preview. It certainly looks like they grabbed a quick interview with Hoke after the game but no sit down, let's review the highlights, opponent next week format at all.

I have to say, I really don't miss the canned answers from coach (not just Hoke, they're all the same that way). "Yeah, Jim, that was a good run" doesn't really do much for me. Also, the preview of the upcoming opponent is rather useless. Maybe there are more fans not like me, but I know ND's roster pretty well and learn/see nothing new from the old Inside Michigan Football format.
I do think they could improve a bit, but this was the first episode of its kind. Too much slo-mo replay for my taste. Could probably use that time to show more real-speed highlights, more sideline interaction, show features, etc. In general, though, the sideline stuff was awesome and it has me more fired up about next week than an old IMF. Not that I didn't like the old format.

If you didn't like the constant "No question, Jim," and "Welllll... Doug Dutch has been working hard out there on the scout team... You were missing out on a lot of fun.

Kinda wish the intro wasn't basically just a braggy hype video. Missin' u Michigan Replay.
The rest of it is pretty nice. Glad they've decided to put on the lights in the studio, and moved away from the weird, shaky camera work. You can pretty much bet this new format is designed to reduce the workload on Brady Hoke, as it required about three minutes of postgame interview in what looks to be a hallway.

What a great show. Props.

I liked seeing the coaches coaching guys up with enthusiasm between series. Looked like Funk was diagramming up the sack that we gave up. Also Mattison said "We're giving away too much of our stuff." I wonder if that's a reference to not showing too much to ND.

is on the sideline talking to the DL and at the break Mone yells out, "Just Win". I don't think these guys are willing to accept the MGoBlog meme of 8-4.

I liked the episodes that started out with the Bobby Womack horns! It seem like in '86 the Michigan Replay stopped the Womack opening song and went with some other track from Bo's last few season threw Mo's season. Then they brought back the Womack opening theme when Lloyd Carr was coach. RR did not really know about the traditions of the show and the AD got to can it! Is Lipscomb producing this show? If so, why doesn't he just name it Michigan Replay?

I miss it, too. It was a Sunday-morning staple of my childhood, at least for four months of the year. If it was a really great win, it could even get us out of going to church.
