Inkster 0-2, Gardner still legit
Devin Gardner had a very good game against west sider East Kentwood. Although Inkster fell Gardner put up very respectable numbers, 1st play was a 66 yard td rush by Yahweh himself. Good to know he can play with with an offensive line that seems to be a bit rough. Anyone happen to catch the game?

don't beat yourself up, there are probably 5x the amount of threads here this week for good reason.
The more I read about Gardner, the more I think 2011 is going to be a very special year for Michigan. Juniors Forcer, Robinson and RSFrosh Gardner on the team, and etc etc. Goodness.

... I think about it, the more likely (in my mind) that this 3-quarterback scheme that RR keeps mentioning is (partly) directed to Gardner and Robinson: "Look, even if Tate is the starting QB, you will get to play immediately if you know what you're doing."

too big and slow.
Or,
they are unlucky.
Or,
The footbaw gods hate them.
Or,
Gardner is throwing the games on purpose.
Or,
The sky is falling! Everybody Panic!

Realistically, what record the rest of the way will inkster need to put up to make the state playoffs?

I remember reading somewhere on this blog that they need to win 5 games. I don't know that for fact but i do know I got that info here.

That's correct. They're playing an eight-game schedule, so they need to win five to make the playoffs.

that AA Pioneer and EK are two of the six largest high schools in Michigan with enrollments of 2600 or so. Inkster's enrollment is around 1100 and they play two divisions lower. They weren't exactly playing the little sisters of the poor. EK is one of the better teams in arguably the best conference in the state, the OK Red, which includes defending state champs in Div 1 (Rockford) and Div 2 (Muskegon).
