Injuries & Receiver Recruiting
There has been some question regarding the number of receivers being recruited, and why we have five commits for WR in the 2010 class.
Today's game illustrates why in spades. Hemingway out, and Stonum injured . . . it is awesome to have enough depth to weather the storm. I love seeing Forcier spread passes to a ton of receivers.
In contrast, while Floyd & Tate were very good, when one goes down, and you only have two, you are screwed big time.
Lastly, Koger is kool. One of the few bad passes was to him, shaded to the outside instead of the inside. Koger in combination with the slots and the outside receivers and even passes to the RB's gives Forcier a HUGE selection to choose from, and makes it that much more difficult to defend.

the sets may be similar to WV under RR but, the play calling is not. ND's experienced secondary was suppose to create mistakes from Tate yet the kid was once again cool despite not being as accurate as usual.
How many true freshman would be able to come back after the pick? Yet alone suffer through a dropped TD only to come back with another game winner.

Koger for Heisman
Its kinda funny, remember when people were questioning the TE in RR offense and said he never uses them.....hmmm, where are they now?

I never posted anything regarding the TE usage, but I must admit this: I am surprised at how much action Koger is seeing. I don't have any data in front of me, but that's got to be more action than the TE's at WVU got.
And, Koger has done an incredible job with the balls throw his way!

I really think we could use him WAY more than we are now. I mean actually throwing to him more.

Its great to have depth at WR obviously; but how about every other position on the field. Wouldnt it also be nice to have depth at CB, or the D-Line, or O-Line. WR is great but its not the most important position on the field.
