I'm really worried about our DL injuries for this game. Their defense is going to test our players' fitness now that they can't rotate as much. Hopefully Glasgow was just kept out as a precaution.

Well yes, I should have specified. In hostile environments, noon road games are preferred; however, I do not consider Bloomington a hostile environment, so I'm OK with this one. MSU and OSU...I always want those road games to be noon kicks.

are subject to being tossed into TV limbo while earlier games run over their scheduled times.  I'd rather see the entire game, starting at noon, than have a later start time and then have to wait around for who-knows-how-long before TV coverage "in progress" becomes available.

Rudock stays on point, and we should be able to put up some points on these guys.  Need to get to the QB to keep them from turning the game into a Nintendo-fest.  For the yards they gave up, D was pretty damn good today.  Got to keep getting better every week.

Elite vs inexperience and shit teams. I wouldn't classify the Utah / MSU / Minnesota games as being elite. Write Indiana off all you want, I've seen so many upsets in the game of football. My only point is that Michigan better bring their A game BC Indiana won't roll over, and all teams that can play the role of spoiler are dangerous teams that shouldn't be taken lightly.

Against teams with a pulse on offense, our defense has been very average.  Even Rutgers gashed us on a lot of plays, and our pass rush was very weak.  If they had a more accurate thrower, we would have gotten hurt a lot more.  Expect Indiana to top 30 points on us without too much trouble.  We will probably need 40+ to win, which is possible, but Ruddock will have to have another really good game, since our ground game continues to underwhelm.

maybe because they've taken two unbeaten teams to the wire, can score on anybody, and have a solid QB. Michigan hasn't done so well this year vs solid QB's...Utah / MSU / Minnesota all did very well vs our secondary. Also Indiana runs several versions of the zone read, which Minnesota executed very well vs this Michigan D. Did you not watch Indiana today or vs OSU? Hasn't been easy beating them last few times we have played them.

MSU gets the noon game.

Michigan @ 3:30

OSU gets the 7p game.

I had MSU and Michigan flip flopped in my prediction last week...but I don't think they're going to run any of those at the same time.

MSU on ESPN at noon, Michigan will be ABC/ESPN2, OSU on ESPN at 7 when they play @ Illinois is what makes the most sense. Michigan had the 7p slot @ Minny, MSU had it @ Nebraska, it's OSU's turn.

put a very real upset bid in on both Iowa and OSU. They are not Purdue. Some of them actually have talent. That said, I would still be very disappointed if we failed to pull away in the second half next week.

We're capable of scoring 50+ on Indiana (but I think we ease up in the 4th) and I'm feeling a defensive or STs TD in the making. It's time. Nobody has put up 30 points on us and IU won't be breaking that barrier. 45-23 Michigan.

I am finally happy with Rudock. That was a great game by him. He did not look scared. He completed a high percentage of passes and broke through the short pass window just missing the wide receivers in stride in a couple of the longer runs. The defense needs to put the clamps on the inside runs straight of the middle they have been plagued by this the past few weeks.Indiana's offense is good, Michigan's defense is better. Special teams need to clean up some sloppiness. Need to win the remainder of these games starting with this weekend. I already cannot wait.

but it has an few wacky variables. We can be very mediocre on offense at times and they can seemingly score on anyone when playing well. I mean to say that they tend to score enough to win most games if not for their atrocious defense. I think we should win and it should be fairly easy but we can't spot them easy points and/or play poorly on offense and still win, IMO. We're a different team at home and I can see us winning a blowout, a close game or simply being outscored by a one-dimensional team. We've seen all level of UM offensive performances this year to visualize those outcomes. Should win but better show up.

Next Saturday is one of those Saturdays where 3:30 PM definitely works better anyway - be damned if my wife didn't commit us to a small event in the morning, but I should be around in plenty of time for the game. I think there are a few folks who agree with me - sometimes the later starts work better when you've got a family.

Bad News - Indiana can score on anyone when they're playing well. Defense has another stiff test next week.
Good News - Indiana's defense is like paper mâché. I'd like to think Rudock can build on his performance from this week and have another good game next week.
