Indiana (and MSU)

We gave up 467 yards today. Is IU better than most thought or is our D just worse than we thought(which was already pretty damn bad)? It looks like next week will be the battle of the horrible defenses. So, who's better. IU or MSU?

I'm beginning to believe that we are capable of scoring whatever we need to win. Even losing the turnover battle and having our C QB exchange make sure there was no chance of covering the spread, we still got it done when needed. We are capable of overcoming our mistakes for the first time in a long time...its enjoyable to watch. As a side note, being outgained isnt always bad, TUOOS won the MNC in 2002 while being outgained by 10 of their opponents. Bastards

October 3rd is going to be an abortion of a game to watch. I love defense, and neither team has anything even remotely resembling a defense.

Doc Worm I am sure you visit the Spartan Tail Gate messageb boards. What is with all the 3rd grade name calling and chatter? Like no one can just say "UM" they always say "scUM!!!!!!!" or "Dickrod" ect.. I feel everyone around here just calls MSU... MSU. It seems like you are not the same kind of poster and have good things to add. The whole board seems grad schoolish(Not a word). Am I far off?

I'm actually under the same name on there, as a matter of fact. Don't read too much into it. When you're on a fan site, you tend to use phrases and say things you wouldn't really say around your friends who cheer for a different team. It's like that here, too. There are people on here who are all about the "HAHA LITTLE BRO LOL" comments, and people who just want to talk football. It's the same thing there. Spartantailgate is just far bigger; you can see the douchebags more simply because there are proportionally more of them. Not everyone appreciates my dry humor, either, so I guess I shouldn't talk. Edit: I've seen people on here say MSUcks, for the record.

when it matters, but they just need that all the time. I have said it on a couple other threads, but if our LB's would play even just a couple notches up we would be soooo much better.

Anyone to be stupid or less of a Michigan Man if they were to come out and say it: Indiana is a pretty good team with some good players who exectute very well. I can easily see them in a bowl game this year.
