Hard to tell from where I was sitting, but I thought I saw Fitzgerald slam right into O linemen a lot - the same problem he was having last time he got PT. I'm hoping I'm wrong, I do remember him making one really nice fill on a 3rd down.

with our defensive 2nd and 3rd string and can now fully understand why they don't play much.

Fitzgerald made a lot of tackles, but didn't really make any great plays. In general, your inside linebackers are going to make the most tackles. Since he played more than any other ILB...there you go.

Does anybody know why Brandin Hawthorne did not get playing time?
But the competition was not the best, so performance today should be taken with a grain of salt, but nonetheless, good to see the backups play.
