Importance of winning next weekend

Submitted by karpodiem on

we have to win.

Geeting the feeling that there are directional cues (for the future) baked into this game, maybe a bit more than the past two games. This will decide if we have a realistic chance at cracking the top 5 in the Big10 (at the five spot)

I think it's huge just from a recruiting standpoint, but also because PSU is just junk this year so far.  I know it's at their place, but the program NEEDS this win badly.  Let's hope Denard, Martin, Molk, and Shaw are healthy and ready to go.

The last two years we have played seven (!) games when we had the opportunity to get win #6 and bowl eligibility.  We're 0-7 in them.  That needs to stop now.

Please explain to me which game you think you can win. PSU on the road? Uhhh no. Illinois at home? Have you seen their D-line? Uhhh no.  Purdue on the road? Yeah right, their d-line is stout and they can score especially on those 11 guys you call a defense. Wisconsin? Are you serious? OSU? You must be joking...

You are an idiot.

Penn State and Purdue are horrible.

Illinois is tough but winnable.

Wisconsin is tougher than Illinois but not as tough as most think IMO, and they're at home.

Ohio State is obviusly a tough mountain to climb.

That's 7-5 minimum. 8-4 plausible. 9-3 improbable but not impossible. 10-2 probably not but whatever.

Please post again just so i can neg you some more.

I find other teams' fans' attitude towards Rodriguez to be fascinating.  On one hand, they think he's a terrible coach, but on the other hand, they want so badly for him to get fired.

I remember during Weis's last couple years at Notre Dame, once every realized he was an openly bad coach, it seemed like a lot of Michigan fans were rooting for Notre Dame to pick up enough wins every year to keep him around.

I do it for the lulz. You on the other hand cheer for UoM because your school's team blows ass slightly less then UofM does. You also were not smart enought to get into UofM so you got stuck with a directional. You do realize that every CMU, EMU and WMU student that roots for UM and calls them "their team" is a complete joke in this state right? You are beyond pathetic.
