IMG 7v7 National Championship (UPDATED)
The IMG 7v7 football National Championship is this weekend, starting with a skills competition today, and games tomorrow. This link will have photos, interviews, and a live stream of the championship game Sunday 3:45 pm EST:
Team Maximum Exposure is the defending national champion, and includes 2013 Michigan commits Shane Morris, Khalid Hill, Jourdan Lewis, and C'sonte York. Norfleet was on this team as well, although not sure if he will be playing as a 2012 commit, and I can't find rosters listed anywhere (stupid work firewalls).
Team Tampa has Michigan targets WR Bailey and DB McQuay III.
Team Core 6 has LTT and Treadwell, although LTT is playing in the first round of the IFAF U-19 World Championship in Texas this weekend, and Treadwell dropped out in favor of a camp in California (cue panic).
Are there other Michigan commits/targets on other teams that you know of? Feel free to post and other info, links, or updates that you know of...

And local news story about Shane Morris: http://www.bradenton.com/2012/06/30/4098113/madden-7-on-7-michigan-recruit.html
pretty sure LTT is not playing on Team Core 6, I thought he was playing for Team USA right now.
You are correct, sir. He will playing int he first round of games saturday night vs. American Samoa. Thanks for the reminder. Edited OP to reflect your info.
actually while on the topic of Team USA, any idea what this is all about? Are a lot of big name recruits on this team?
More information, including rosters here: http://u19championship.com/
A mix of talent on the USA roster, most of whom have not come across my radar as a Michigan fan... although LTT, Pocic, and Bivin are all on the Oline.
Unless 330lb LTT is lining up in the slot
He is at a different camp (B2G Camp) in California.
Where's JakeInVenice?
Is he the guy who refs these events?
I really wouldn't worry about Treadwell's visit to California. The camp is not a college-sponsored activity, and takes place at UCLA (who has no chance with Treadwell). On the upside, Magnuson is at the camp and "is really that good"
If you're really that worried about Treadwell's recruiting status, just check out the background on his twitter page.
Not to be a dick, but you do realize that your article about Magnuson is from last year right?
Thanks for the link. But it's from last year.
I don't think the camp is at UCLA this year, although it's true that it is not a school-affiliated camp.
It still surprises me that Magnuson never got a 5th star with reviews like that.
Don't forget Jourdan Lewis is on MaxEx as well.
Thanks. Fixed.
How did the skills competition go? and what time do the games start today? any way to follow the action from a twitter account or live thread or something?
Posted a couple of new links in the OP. No Michigan recruits or targets won any of the skills competitions (not sure ho wmany actually participated, but I know Shane Morris did.
Here's a link to the official IMG blog... looks like they'll at least have end of the day wrap-ups with a certain amount of stats:
Not sure as far as "live" coverage for today, but looks like there will be at least one MgoBlogger there...
