Iman Marshall goes Skating at UM

Submitted by Mattavious on

Sounds like Iman Marshall had a good time and liked the coaching staff.  Follow the link for a short piece on his visit with a couple quotes.  Soooo disappointed in Harbaugh, who is not willing to go skating to close the deal /s

Marshall said he couldn't get new Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh to join him on the ice.

I ice skated for the first time 2 years ago and I never fell although I was pretty shaky. I'm a decent athlete but wouldn't say I'm ridiculously athletic. It's more about balance and I've also rollerskated before (not much, however).

It's not funny to joke about IBD.  My brother-in-law has it, and although it's hilarious to watch him run to the bathroom after trying moderately spiced food, and then, I bang on the bathroom door yelling "Hurry up!!! I have to piss... you done yet, hurry" each and every time, it is a serious medical condition deserving of respect and understanding.  .

Two things I would wonder about:

"the infamous No. 2 jersey"

and

"The last defensive player to win the coveted trophy."

Who ever described it as the infamous No. 2 jersey? Ever?

and

The last defensive player?  THE ONLY DEFENSIVE PLAYER!

He had a glowing response to his FSU official which was just before his UM one. At least we are in the mix, but we are just one of many programs he is contemplating. I sure hope we get him, just don't get your hopes up too high.

I think the coaches feel Clark is a legit 50/50 guy with M and UCLA. Can't get a read on him. They know he loves Michigan but loves UCLA as much. The offering of TE recruits is a back up plan. I think they are interested in signing two TE's anyways.

on the LOI. They can all change there mind. Does anyone think Harbaugh is going to sit quitely by and take a chance on things falling apart?

It will be interesting to see how he handles signing day. I assume there will be some recruits who may be disappointed given the small class size.

I remember there was a high-profile defensive back that as a USC lock. He was from Long Beach Cal. and Michigan was thought to have no chance of getting him. His name was Donovan Warren and he played for Michigan for 3 years. Anything's possible.
