If you sat in Sections 1-24 or 33-44 yesterday...

YOU ROCK! THANK YOU!!!

The Big House was a fantastic atmosphere yesterday all around, but the one thing that I especially noticed was seemingly all of the nonstudents were standing and yelling on every Northwestern third down.

Many students were remarking on this throughout the game; I know that people typically say the stadium feeds off of the student section, but we rely on YOU just as much! It's awesome to see the stadium rise around you!

Keep it up next week and let's make life as tough as possible for that Sparty offense!!!

GO BLUE, BEAT STATE!!!

Thank you to the students for not emptying out in the fourth quarter. I brought a friend from out of town to the BYU game and she couldn't believe how empty it was by then. This goes for the rest of the stadium, too, but the student section especially.

Portion of those sections were alumni back for Reunion weekend. That may be why it was so loud (for many, the only live game of the year).

That definitely helped a little bit.

However, I've been to a few Homecomings and none have come close to yesterday.

This fan base is hungry and we need to do our part. "If you're for us, you're FOR US!"

The energy in the stadium is much higher than the past 8-10 years. Everyone wants this. It seems even the most laid back fans have that feeling deep down that they are tired of losing and not having respect. I cannot wait to experience next Saturday. There is going to be such a buzz all week leading up. I can't remember the last time I heard the "DE-FENSE" chant that loud. Enjoy he ride and Go Blue

I've only been going to games the last decade or so an have NEVER heard that chant and hated the start of it. But then it became so loud I began to laugh and had a smile on my face turned to my buddy and said "this is new and I kinda like it".

The woman a couple rows in front of me turned around and asked "have you ever heard this before? We've had these tickets for (I think she said 20) years and I've NEVER heard this"

It was so unreal.  The whole place was electric, hasn't felt like that in a long while. I had lost my voice by the 2nd quarter. The DE-FENSE chant at the end of the game as awesome!

Go Blue! Beat State!

It's been 4 years since being in the Big House.  My wife and I brought her mother and father.  What a great game to bring them to.  The weather was perfect!  The opening kickoff came right at us for the TD!  What a way to start a geme.   Our section was up every 3rd down and the defense is just so good to see perform at a high level.   With a few minutes to go my wife said "let's go", I told her no way, "we are staying until the end"  I wanted the shut out like everyone else.  The chant at the end gave me goose bumps.

Also wanted to point out what a great half time show.

I just love how everything is being run now.  Go Blue!!

That this becomes a trend. I know their is always conversation about how the non-students don't get that loud, sit the whole game, etc. The big house can and should be a deafening, intimidating venue to play at. Go blue!

I have been to many, many games over more years than I like to admit (46), and yesterday was the most vocal crowd in a game with an opponent not named OSU, ND, or MSU, that I can rememember and for  games that were not close after the first quarter, it was by far the loudest, without regard to the opponent. We too were standing on every third down play. Great atmosphere!

for being so amaizingly spirited all game long!

That the atmosphere was so energized from start-to-finish yesterday is a testimonial both to how much we all understand what we've been through and to how much we're all fired up about the present and future of Michigan Football.

From Schlissel, Hackett, and Harbaugh on down through every coach, player, usher, and of course the fans, we all feed upon each other's energy.

This is truly awesome to behold and to be a part of !!!!!

Millen commented on how awesome the "De-Fense" chant was. He said this is a crowd that realizes they're seeing something special. Hell yes it's special, it's downright Amaizing!

We have seats in section 41 and 42.  We sat in Section 42 yesterday and my wife and I both commented on the student section which was full and the most enthusiatic it's been this season.....for good cause!!  We had some newbies around us who thought the student section was awesome and loved your wave.   Go Blue!!

Next week Maize Out!!!

I can only afford to go to 1 game per year, but my 7 year old daughter and myself yelled our guts out for 4 quarters yesterday in section 39.  Wish we could be there next week, but we will do the best we can from our living room.  Go Blue!!

It was her first game going to the big house and she did not disappoint me.  I was a little skeptical in taking her at first, but she was totally into it from the opening kick off.  Even if we never go to another game in our lives, we will always have the perfect memory from yesterday.

When I heard the DE-FENSE chant go up!  All the way over here in Eastern Europe -- It made me PROUD of the crowd!  Respect to Durkin and the boyz!

by slightly altering the wording on my box of Honey Nut Cheerios™ :

Student sections are filled by students, not volume.  You can be assured of proper student attendance numbers even though some settling of student attendance into lower rows normally occurs because...STUDENTS.
