If you could ask Barry Larkin a question...
If you could ask Barry any questions about his time at Michigan, or his relationship to Michigan athletics, what would it be?
Update: Press conference in 1 hour (3:30p ET). Last call.

How difficult was it to leave a Bo coached football team, and what was Bo like when you told him you were pursuing other interests?

The cincinnati reds had a little bit of a pipeline of UM baseballers back in the day, with you, Chris Sabo and Hal Morris, maybe more. Can you explain that?

Barry, what made you choose Michigan and what other schools did you consider attending?

According to a past MLive article:
He was recruited as a defensive back by Notre Dame, Texas and Southern California.
That talented.

You pointed out earlier that his son is being recruited for basketball by Stanford, Harvard, and Cal. Apparently that talent and intelligence runs in the family.

Indeed, his father was a chemist as well. Both parents were athletes, his dad played baseball and mother volleyball. Good genes.

I suppose you can't ever know a public figure, but living near the Cincinnati area, I can at least say that he always seemed a like a really classy leader of the Reds. He went to my step-sister's school once and was really friendly...I also remember, off the top of my head, that he learned Spanish so that he could better relate to the Reds Latin players and that he handled the whole Marge Schott fiasco really well. He's one of my favorite all-time athletes at any level.
Don't you hate pants?
He told the story of how Bo would show up "looking like Darth Vader with his parka over his head." He had to get someone else to run down there and verify that the guy in the parka heckling him during practice was indeed Bo.
how big of a psycho was Chris Sabo?
