I think we know what we thought we knew.

-Denard is excellent as we thought, but its fair to say he far exceeded expectations for his passing. The o-line was solid, but it's fair to say they were not dominating in run blocking-pass blocking however was great.

-The defense has many holes, tackling is still an issue, as is the secondary, and Brandon Graham is impossible to replace. Strong game from Roh.

-We continue to have problems CATCHING THE DAMN BALL, which is frankly, a nightmare. Kicking game was ahem, an issue.

-The effort and unity of the team was impressive, and looks very positive for the rest of the season.

An excellent win to be celebrated, Looking to ND, I'm already concerned about Rudolph and Floyd. UCONN receivers were wide open all game, and drops killed them. But we'll worry about that Monday. Go Blue!

Special teams and secondary worry me a lot unfortunately, that missed PAT was just D:

But our D line looked good and our O looked almost as marvelous as GERG's hair.

We played almost perfect on offense.

we even got back our own fumble :)

3 plays big plays on defense

the no catch on the 2

having been beaten by the wide out but still had 2 guys close was enough to force an error in throwing stopping what would have been 6

and forcing the fumble when they were going to cut it to 7

Thats 21 points the D didn't allow. Total Win

Special Teams

All them short kickoffs scare me

The missed extra point Woah

Most important we D'ed up and allowed us to get out to a 21 point lead. Overall I will say I'd give us an B rating. It is the first game and many underclassmen are on the field.

Go Blue

comes between game one and game two. We will need it to beat Our Lady next week. But looks we will at least be competitive.

The D had it in them to come up with some big stops.
