I support Rich Rod

I think there comes a time where you just have to support someone with no preconditions. It usually occurs at rock bottom. I think it could be worse, but right now I just want to say that I support Rich Rod and the entire football team. Go Blue no matter what.

He only gets my support if we win Saturday. Otherwise we better win at least 9 games next season. Sorry but this isn't football we're playing. Our defense isn't physical, our offensvie line isn't physical, our play calling is shaky. I will let him have one more year, but we havn't gotten better.

I plan on calibrating my support for RichRod based on the ratio of the percentage of offensive snaps that result in gains of at least 5.1 yards to the percentage of defensive snaps that don't involve Terrell Pryor stiff-arming Stevie Brown while mocking his puniness. Anything above 1.0 means I will allow him to have one more year. Anything less, that's it. UN-ACC-EPT-ABLE!!1!!1!1!!!

Turbo cool is right. I see at least 4 of these types of posts a day. We get it. Most of support RR. I do. So lets just leave it at that. RR is safe for at least 1-2 more years.

Ughhhhh... Someone else is drinking the RRod Kool-aid [/sarcasm] I think most of the people on this board support RRod. We've all endured a rough 2 years, but I honestly believe that RRod will take Michigan football to heights that the program has not seen in many years.

supports RR but everyone should. What we're seeing now was sown long ago. We suffered for 12 years from under-achieving mediocrity that swireled into this funnel of despair. OK, not 10 months after we beat a relatively mediocre Wash St team with a complete nut job for a QB we got completely destroyed by Syracuse-a good team with a very athletic QB. About 2 years later our senior QB was sitting on the bench in East Lansing as we lost to our biggest in-state rival. The same QB who now is recognized as one of the all time best in the NFL. Then a couple of years later we look silly against an Oregan team that is steeped in gimmicks from a duck on a motorcycle to >200 uniform combos. Shortly after that(or was it before-I'm confused) we should have lost to Ball St. Then there's App St. And we're blaming RR? Does anyone really believe that a different coaching staff would have achieved significantly different outcomes? Loyalty says alot about a person's character. Cowardice is when one knows what's right and says nothing. Speak up 'everyone'

Yes, Carr lost to Appy and Oregon, but then he led the Wolverines to eight straight wins, including the win over Florida. That defense was pretty bad as well, but still, Carr found a way to keep the Wolves winning

The seeds were really sown much much earlier. In 1905, after four consecutive national championships, Fielding Yost's squad lost to a mediocre University of Chicago team in the last game of the season, 2-0. Then in 1979, on the heels of three straight Big Ten titles, Bo's boys lost to a bad Purdue team on their way to a four-loss season capped off by an inexcusable defeat at the hands of North Carolina in the Gator Bowl. And we're blaming RR for our present struggles?! WTF?!

... the I support RR post and the burn RR at the stake post. Then people can contribute to these stickies, vent, pontificate, whatever. I think people post these more for personal affirmation then anything else, so let them have that, without pushing other content down the posts board. And btw, the two posts should never cross paths.
