I hate ohio state

I hate ohio state more then I hate anything else. It also happens that my roomate is a buckeye fan, his dad an alum and his grandpa played for them. Every year when the new ncaa comes out we sim through a season just so see how the game thinks it will all play out. Last year doing this michigan went 2-10, which i laughed at and thought could never happen. Im bringing this all up because when we did this today michigan went 4-8 but beat ohio state. That made me wonder, would you rather be 4-8 with a win over ohio state, or 11-2 with a loss. Also would you still want rich rod around if we had a losing season but a win in "the game"?

For those of you who are interested in NEW content, rather than in material that has been discussed already, please see my earlier post about "Dr. Worm."

We HAVE to beat MSU this year. That's it. That's all. 1-11 with 40 point win at MSU? I'll take it. I cannot stand another off season of Sparty bullshit...

i hate ohio state but losing to state is unacceptable ... in fact the only way i will even listen to the firerod ppl is if we fail to beat lil bro again ... i just cant take the stupid state fans who think they are all of a sudden the shit after their first legit win against us in a decade (obviously clockgate was so far from legit it still makes me wanna puke)

I did the same thing but Michigan went 9 wins and beat OSU. Tate broke the record in passing yards. What I like about dynasty is players speeds increase as they go. Recruiting players with 89 speed is more commmon, but become 93ish speed by the time they graduate!

to accept 4-8, even if one of the four is against OSU because that means some pretty bad losses. That said, 11-2 with an OSU loss would be painful, too, because that means somehow at least 10 wins prior to OSU, which is, like... doubtful, followed by a killer loss (once again), so I refuse to consider said scenario.

record and a bowl game is more important than any rivalry game this year. If we show enough improvement to get to a bowl, nationally people will have to notice Rodriguez as turning things around. If we have one lucky day and a crappy season, things will get very bad with recruiting, I think.

agreed. As much as I would love to see us beat the stuffings out of tO$U I think a vast improvement on the season record will help on the recruiting trail much more. If we were to win 11 games this year it would undoubtedly include a Jan 1 bowl. Win or lose to tO$U even 8 or 9 wins would show where RR is taking this program.
