I got an MSU fan thinking for a minute
For some reason some of my family are fans of MSU. Today on are way home from the great white north they were still talking about it. So finally I said, Yeah it was a good win but they almost blew it. Then they said something random.
Then I said well you know a true freshman QB just about beat you by himself with a bum shoulder. (give credit to stonum for making people miss) MSU is going to have 3 more years of Forcier who's made some big plays at the end of games 3 out of the 5 games he's played this year. Thats when I got a couple of MSU fans to think for a few seconds anyway.
Now onto Iowa.

So I'm suppose to just listen to the crap? When M beats MSU on a regular basis I don't say anything to them. But when they beat M once every ten years or finally break a 42 year streak I'm just suppose to sit there with my hands folded and say nothing? Not likely. You can only hear it so much until you've had enough. And its not like I went outta my way. They were talking so I talked back. And point number two, its my family. This shit goes on all the time, whether it be deer hunting or whatever. Get off your high horse. I'm sure you've never done it.

Seriously though, Tate Forcier was very impressive. Bear in mind though, so was Kirk Cousins. There's going to be some great QB battles down the line with these two.

I don't know why Cousins doesn't play from start to finish. I've caught a few State games and it seems that Cousins runs the offense much better than Nichol and it just interrupts the momentum every time Nichol comes in (which is why I was actually glad to see Nichol come in against UM.)

It's because Mark Dantonio is an average coach at best. He's like Lloyd in his later years, he gets decent talent and then underperforms with them. He's making silly decisions that serve to only hamper his team (this Cousins/Nichol thing is eerily similiar to Brady/Henson) and cannot make the best of his available assets.

You don't talk shit unless and until your team wins. Coming off two losses in a row, it's kind of hard to convince them that their doom is right around the corner--expecially since WE blew it in OT and they stole the game back.
SRSLY--the Sparties are the ones who talk shit when they lose to UM six years in a row--we should know better.
