That was a hell of a game! I almost had a heart attack!!
Game was so exciting, I made my upstairs neighbor end up watching the game. That was one hell of a finish.
Thank you Mark May for talking to Borges at half and suggesting "Unleash Denard!!!". Although, I feel as if Denard was always unleashed, it was simply a matter of execution (recievers dropping balls and Denard off the mark). Can't wait for this UFR. That was one hell of a game!!!!

How was Denard used poorly? He had a ton of opportunities to make plays all game long and if he'd played up to his capabilities throwing the ball his numbers would have looked like a pinball machine.
I could understand complaining about our odd reluctance to hand the ball off (8 carries for the running backs isn't very MANBALL), but the design of the offense ain't a problem. If/when this team executes they are unstoppable.

It would have also helped if our receivers brought their hands the first three quarters.

Just how everyone wants him used. And he was pretty awful doing it. But he never quit, and came back to tear them a new one. That's why he's Denard.

338 yards (on just 11 completions), over 100 on the ground, and 5 total TDs, all with no help from the running game. Against a pretty good veteran defense.
And yeah, he really didn't play very well at all. Don't know if it was nerves or familiarity with the offense, but when (and I don't think it will be very long) he gets comfortable and the backs get involved this is going to be a ridiculously good offense.
We didn't even run the ball out of the under center looks and the play action was still totally freezing the defense over and over again. The ceiling doesn't even exist with this offense.

So then he wasn't awful doing it. Unless you're drawing as arbitrary distinctions as 15 minute periods, which are pretty arbitrary.

don't really care

That doesn't determine the winner?

What was nice was that even though Denard and his receivers weren't executing, ND didn't put that many points up. I think the defense stepped up a couple times in key situations, despite ND shooting themselves in the foot a couple times (red zone Rees herp derp).
But yeah, I be like dang.

The UFR is going to be bi-polar this week.
