I am going to the Outback Bowl Team Luncheon

So I am headed to the team luncheon today at the convention center in Tampa.  I didn't know if anyone has attended a similar event and had any idea what kind of access to the players and coaches I may have.  I went to the contract signing a couple of weeks ago and got some pics with Coach Hoke but I was only able to chat with him for about 30 seconds.  The coaches were kind of in and out at the contract signing.  I assume since it is an hour lunch with both teams that once the food is done there will likely be some time to mingle but I honestly don't know.

I just want to make the most of my time.  I will have my 11 month old there and would like to get some pics with some of the guys with him so I can have that for him when he gets older.  I have to hook him early to keep him from going toward the dark side.

Not taking it as rubbing it in...post above was just expressing some friendly jealousy.  My advice, get as many pics with as many of the players or coaches as you can.  It'll definitely be something you wish you could slow down time for and enjoy every moment, but tomorrow you'll have those pics and it'll be worth it.  My dad has a picture of him with Bo from a luncheon several years ago and its such a cool thing for him to have.

I figured you didn't think I was gloating but I wanted to be sure.  Oh and a little advice...don't go to Subway man.  That place is terrible.  Just about any local place would be better.  Now I am jealous of the Bo pic.  That would be amazing to have something like that.

Yeah, its a great picture and I'm sure I have a copy of it somewhere.  I'll keep it forever.  The old man was at UM with Tom Harmon, fraternity brother of Don Canham...Michigan sports will be part of the DNA until the day I die.

I'm usually a 'traditionalist' but started using that avatar last year when Michigan had the numbers on the helmets.  I'll see if I can find something else to use now that my current avatar is "so 2011"

But, regardless...mine is better because....well....its mine.

and don't forget they will be at Busch Gardens tomorrow.  there's a great area for little toddlers and it's supposed to be nice.  i am bringing my kids - but make sure if you want to ride any roller coasters to buy the Fast Pass - it will be a packed park manana.  that's what she said.
