HYPE! (Video)
From the man himself:
"Think what a Great thing it is to be a part of something that is, THE TEAM." -BO #GoBlue @umich @xzibit http://bit.ly/1Bp4GQn
Would have been nice to have a small dose of Denard in there. Can never get enough Denard...
I got so excited I just punched my boss in the face. Probably going to get fired now.
Two Problems:
- Too much Penn State Night Game Uniform.
- Not enough Denard Robinson.
M fan?
That just jacked me up...I want to lift weights now
How sad that all of the hype videos focus on the distant past. Hopefully ten years from now the hype videos will be of recent success.
Go Blue!
Did my job to spread hope and Michigan pride.
Looking forward to the fall!
Still get goose bumps watching Boston get his ass smacked on that play
the video was well done, but the only highlights that were from anything beyond the early 2000's were just players running onto the field. C'mon guys, SOMETHING good has happened over the past few years, right?

What 4K content is available right now? Cable/Satellite TV isn't 4K. Blu-Ray isn't 4K. Is there some streaming stuff that is 4K?
I just bought the Samsung 65js9000 curved 4k. You can get 4k content on Netflix, Youtube, Hulu and Amazon Prime. Direct TV currently has movies that you can get at 4k. The content is coming, but live TV is struggling to get the service out and moving. The biggest hurdles for 4k streaming is the size of the files. A 2 hour movie is around 100 gigs of data. If you have Comcast, you're likely capped at 300 gigs a month. That means you can get about 6 hours of 4k content STREAMED before you're out of bandwidth and they start charging you by the gig. If you are like me and have an ISP that hasn't picked up on the capping game, it's not a big deal. Streaming a movie on DirectTV doesn't use bandwidth.
Many people said ESPN was supposed to be streaming in 4k by the end of the year. I don't think that's true. The boxes sitting in your living room likely can't handle 4k content yet and upscaling has its faults.
The reason I got the TV I did? I wanted a new tv since my new house is much bigger and my living room was too big for a 55 in to be good enough. Might as well get 4k while I'm upgrading. If I wasn't in that situation, I wouldn't have rushed out to get a 4k.
Here's a good write up on 4k. Sounds like we're 2 years out till we'll see any true live broadcast in 4k and even then, the infrastructure will greatly limit who can see it. Here's hoping the Net Neutrality laws work and competition drives the market toward getting this out sooner than later.

No Denard.
Sets an NCAA record running the spread, knows a pro-style system is coming, stays loyal to Michigan while sacrificing personal gain by not transferring to a school that runs spread (cou-Oregon-gh).
Also, he was (and is) absolutely electric and one of the nicest, most pleasant, humble people ever to wear the winged helmet.
and it rhymes with Pawesome.
