And cleaned it up. I’ve been to that cow pasture; it never looked like that.

The ice rink is just outside of that. Last time I was at the rink was to watch Michigan vs BGSU; this was during the late ‘00s. The ice was nothing more than slush. Any attempted pass never made it, since the slush stopped it. It was only way BGSU could hang with Michigan during that era.

BGSU hasn't won the Battle of I-75 since 2009, and their team is trash this year, but I'm hopeful. Bought some Modelo from the Brooklyn Bodega for this occasion.

I grew up in BG, so go Falcons!

I have to say I know a lot of fans from around the area who hate the weeknight games for good reason. I do enjoy the stretch of a few weeks and being able to come home most any weeknight and flipping on a game.. either watching my hometown Falcons or as an OU alum the Bobcats. #MACtion

as if being in Wisconsin for work this week wasn't bad enough, last night I had to listen to 2 Buckeye fans at the hotel bar discuss their CFP chances. If they come back tonight, bottles will be broken.

MACtion is great, except for the college towns the games are played in.  I live in BG.  The TV deal with ESPN has absolutely killed the rivalry with Toledo. (And maybe a little bit bc BG gets rolled every year) Used to be a packed house, or close to it on a fall Saturday when BG played UT, but last night was awful.

I read somewhere, no idea if true or not, but the MAC received $100M from ESPN for 13 years for these games to be played on weeknights in November.  I hope they got more than that.
