HTTV?

Submitted by poseidon7902 on

Is it coming?  The masses want to know.  This time last year I was posting the link to the kickstarter on Facebook.  Haven't seen much if anything here, though it's possibly lost in all the other threads.

This year, it's in the Cloud. More to the point, it is in the Cloud which will cover the southwest portion of Defiance, Ohio on June 3rd from 2 PM to 3 PM.

In all seriousness though, the Kickstarter probably should have been out, even done by now so my assumption is that this might be done via different means perhaps this year. I know it is being written as we type from the passing references to its progress on MGoTwitter.

Any older httv left I can purchase? I've only been around long enough to purchase the last 3 editions. I would love to purchase some older editions just for a quick read during downtime and to add to the collection.

We don't carry them in the warehouse so it's about what I have in my personal inventory. That is:

  • 2015 edition: plenty
  • 2014 edition: plenty
  • 2013 hoops & hockey: plenty
  • 2013 edition: a handful, but only a few left in good shape
  • 2012 edition: out. I'm down to my copy at home.

Before that HTTV was put out by the now-defunct Maple Street Press. The last one they wouldn't even call HTTV (and they never paid us for it...stringing us along for months before they could declare bankruptcy). I only have my personal copies of these since I wasn't the publisher--I just copyedited the PDFs back then. But you can always try ebay or whatever. The first one was 2007.

Since I am TERRIBLE at getting to the post office in a timely fashion (it's not even that far from me--I just can't ever get out of the house during business hours), I don't bother putting the back issues on sale. But if you're going to be at an MGoEvent or if you ever want to come by (14 mile and Northwestern in West Bloomfield) I'm happy to do a hand-to-hand cash exchange.
