How will the crowd be for the UM/OSU mens basketball game?

i'm bringing clients to their first um hoops game on that date and wondered what type of atmosphere there would be being this is during your break (at least i assume it is) - the students definately make it fun to watch !

Hopefully a good one because I'll be there as well! It seems there has been considerable empty spots in the upper bowl, but the Maize Rage has been loud and in record numbers.

I do not understand the athletic department's scheduling this year. The home OSU game during break? Why? Senior night is during Spring Break. And, going back to football, the Delaware State game during fall break? I'm sure the attendance will be decent, but, I, personally, am a little disappointed with how they scheduled this season.

The basketball schedule is the Big Ten's doing. The same thing with regards to senior night happened last year and we missed home games with Wisconsin and Illinois over Christmas. At least we only have two break games this year.

In row 16 you will not have to worry about standing. I went to their first home game this year and was row 13 behind the student section and could see comfortably over the student section while sitting (granted I stood for much of it, particularly when Manny was closing in on a triple-double).

Regarding attendance it may be lower than otherwise expected because... Those of us (students) with season tickets have to separately purchase tickets for all the games that occur during breaks. So, instead of giving students an incentive to stay or come back early, it's giving them one more reason not to.

Totally agree they should have included these games in the season ticket package. Or maybe they should have given us free attendance to the first 300 (or something) Maize Rage members to show up. The presence of the students is a great boost to the atmosphere.

does the band play at games played over break like this one...got 8 clients coming with me and i was hoping the atmosphere would be good for this one, but without the students and band, well, we would have to watch the game....j/k
